My apologies if there is a similar thread. Would appreciate link if so
![]() I occasionally read that UM cases featured on other series have much more information. Can I get the names of some cases and shows these are showcased on? I'd like to follow up on cases via netflix and ID, but have a central place to check! Thanks! |

Disappeared is on Netflix. It as a couple of the same cases.
While the names escape me, I know the young lady suspected of being abducted from a laundry mat was featured. As well as the girl that disappeared while out for a run one morning. Also the Freeman/Bible double missing person case was on there as well. Jody (not sure how to spell the last name), the news anchor abducted from her apartment complex. Disappeared featured those. I feel like there were a couple more but I am at work at the moment so my brain is turned off. |

I love watching different shows' episodes on cases featured on UM! Below is a pretty incomplete list, but it might give you a good start.
Forensic Files has done episodes on: -Dorothy Donovan -Patty Stallings -Dennis Keith Smith -Mia Zapata -Oba Chandler (the Rogers family murder) -Dan Short (I haven't seen this one personally but would LOVE to catch it sometime) -the "Omar" arsonist -Shannon Mohr -Aimee Willard -Linda Sobek Cold Case Files (that I can recall): -the "Omar" arsonist (this one was MUCH creepier than the Forensic Files treatment, as they showed clips of some weird videos the arsonist had made) -Aimee Willard -Eva Schoen -David Tyll and Brian Ognjan (briefly profiled as part of a quick roll-call of missing persons cases sometime during the second season) City Confidential: -the Signal Mountain (ATV) murders -T.K. Harty -Mia Zapata -Martha Brailsford (on UM this was featured as part of a segment on self-described psychic witch Laurie Cabot) -Linda Sobek The FBI Files: -Annie Laurie Hearin -Dan Short -Terry Lee Connor and Joseph Dougherty -D.B. Cooper The New Detectives: -Oba Chandler -Darlie Routier Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege, and Justice: -Eva Schoen -Jeanne Tovrea -Lita McClinton Sullivan (such an underrated UM case, IMO) Justice Files segments: -Michael Swango -Andy Cook (the CRX killer) I seem to remember a show doing the Stuart Heaton case as well, but I don't recall what it was. |

ooh boy. I'd have to go through my collection to get a complete listing of what I have. Off the top of my head...
American Justice -The Dowalibys -Alex Kelly -Shannon Mohr -Darlie Routier -Jeffrey MacDonald -Linda Sobek Disappeared -Niqui McCown -Moses Law and Lila Buerretan -Colleen Reed -Rachel Cooke -Amy Bechtel -Jodi Huisentruitt -Ashley Bible/Lauria Freeman The Investigators -Stuart Heaton (don't have this one, but I know it exists) -Franklin Delano Floyd Dateline -Jesse James Hollywood Murder By The Book -John Hawkings/Dr. Richard Boggs -Mickey and Trudy Thompson -James Ellroy Nightmare Next Door -Kari Lynn Nixon Cold Case Files -Lisa Marie Kimmell -Mia Zapata -Oba Chandler Vanished with Beth Holloway -Amy Bradley -Bible and Freeman 48 Hours -Mickey and Trudy Thompson Meg, I will see if I have the Dan Short episode of Forensic Files for you. I have all of the Cold Case Files and City Confidential episodes you mentioned, with the exception of Martha Brailsford and TK Harty. They haven't played those in years. |

here are some more I have
American Justice -Martha Moxley -Rolando Cruz -Unabomber -Night Stalker -Green River Killer -Kenneth McDuff They also did one on Ted Binion, but I don't think I have that one. Cold Case Files -Original Night Stalker -Kevin Hughes -Black Dahlia -Green River Killer (2 different times!) City Confidential -Martha Moxley -General Wayne Inn The Unexplained Files has done segments on Mothman, Frederick Valentich, sptonaenous human combustion and a seemingly Chupacabras type creature. Can't seem to find my copy of Valentich at the moment, but it re-airs next week, so I'll re-record it then. I have all the rest handy. |

On the Case With Paula Zahn covered Sherry Eyerly's murder. The title of the episode is "Kidnapped on the Fourth of July."
