Since a lot of the cases featured on UM have been shown on other true crime programs, I think it would be worthwhile to list which cases have been on various true crime shows. Here are some off the top of my head.
-TK Hardy - City Confidential -Niqi McCown - Disappeared -East Area Rapist - Cold Case Files Feel free to add more. |

The case of Charles Horvath was featured on a Canadian program entitled "Lost Treasures" which seemed to mirror UM in many ways. Canadian actor Al "King Of Kensington" Waxman served as the host and in many ways seemed to mimic Robert Stack.
The main differences between the two series was that the reenacments on "Lost Treasures" were done in the style of soap opera dramatics allowing the actors to act a bit more than the actors did on "Unsolved Mysteries" but beyond that it's very easy to see how the "Lost Treasures" people patterned their series after "Unsolved Mysteries". PS: You can view the Horvath "Lost Treasures" segment on a certain site as it's been uploaded there by Charles' mother Denise Horvath-Allan. |

Forensic Files:
1) Dennis Smith (this was the first FF episode I ever saw and got me into the show. coincidentally, in this episode they played an excerpt from the Dennis Smith UM segment) 2) Patty Stallings 3) Dana Satterfield 4) Dorothy Donovan I know there are probably plenty of other UM cases also featured on FF. Can anyone here list the rest of them? thanks. |

The murders of Grant Hendrickson and Michelle Cartagena is on the ID network's "Unusual Suspects". Andrew Cook, the son of an FBI agent, was convicted of killing the couple.

Rick Church (killed his ex-girlfriends family) was featured on America's Most Wanted way back when. That case is solved though.

The notorious arsonist-videographer has been on RealTV and Cold Case Files. I've seen the RealTV segment and have been eagerly searching for the CCF episode, which I hear shows much more of the videotape, including the arsonist in his basement, chanting under a mask.

Does anyone know the title of the Cold Case Files episode on the videographer-arsonist? I have been searching for it for quite some time and am determined to track it down one day.

I think the "omar arsonist" CCF episode is called "Fire Flicks". The name is on the A&E site in their episode guide. Hopefully this link will take you to the info:
