Post Kenneth Robert Stanton

Thanks to Kadrmas I found his current picture and info. He is still in prison and would be eligible for parole in several years. Here is the website:

http://www.dcor.state.ga.us/GDC/Offe...OffQryForm.jsp

They won't let you give a direct link so choose "Inmate Info" and then "Georgia Inmate Query". Of course you have to agree to the conditions and then where it says "Select Identifier" choose "GDC ID Number" and then after "Enter Number" type in 656690. Click next and it should get you to the page with all his info and a current page. Pretty scary looking. Glad to see he's still behind bars.

Yes, Stanton has aged considerably. He kind of looks like a grandpa. But then again he turns 70 years old this year so I guess that explains it. According to the GA DOC he is currently due to be released on parole in December of 2020 when he would be 82 years old. His sentence though doesnt expire until 2031 when he would be 93 years old. So if he is released in 2020 he would be on supervised parole until 2031.

It looks like he was sentenced to 4, 20 year terms for child molestation. I am sure Georgia law has been changed since then but if he were sentenced to 80 years I dont think he would be getting out in 2020 or at all. So, I am guessing some of the sentences were run concurrently. So I took a guess that he was sentenced to 40 years in prison as part of a plea bargain.

Refresh my memory on this one..is he the dude that would pose as a cop or something and get into the homes of children whose parents weren't home?

Yes, thats him. A real sicko. He would say something about having to inspect their milk or something and would strike when the child was home alone. At least he's off the streets and I can't imagine the state of Georgia would be eager to let a serial child molester out on parole.

Sadly, I didn't remember him until I looked at his pic. I still just see the dark-haired actor with the comb over peering through the cracked door at the kid asking to inspect his milk. Can't decide who's creepier! The actor pretending to be Stanton or Stanton himself!

He's a sick man, I'm so glad he's behind bars.

I remember thinking when I first saw the re-enactment, that this kind of gig must be like a kiss of death for an actor. "Played the part of Kenneth Stanton for Unsolved Mysteries re-enactment ... looked just like him, only creepier!"
Yowsah.

I first saw this segment when I was 10 years old. The guy who played Stanton in the reenactment scared the heck out of me (I had to go to bed immediately after UM ended at 9:00). UM decided to run this as the very last segment of the program so needless to say, I had a bit of trouble sleeping at night.

Doesn't look that scary to me.....just a bit on the creepy side. Thank god he'll be ready to kick the bucket by the time they let him out though......

I was in 3rd grade when it aired. I was watching it on Wed. night as typical and when they mentioned "Mobile, AL" and I saw his car back out of the driveway in the reinactment with Mobile County plates on the car, I freaked out. I was so scared, it was hard for me to sleep that night. The next day in class, my 3rd grade teacher asked if we'd seen it because she knew someone related to him. Scary!

After pulling that pic up...wow! He is OLD now...and still freaky.

Yes, usually child molestors and predators are (somewhat) fair game in the prison system.
Unless the prison administrators have decided to keep him in protective custody, secluded from the other prisoners.

lol...I was watching the episode a few nights back and my skin crawled from just looking at the actor...yikes-o-rama! What a creepy guy! Him and that hellish hair and bit of a porn-stash!

Child molesters should die...end of story. We spend millions to keep these creeps alive. Take some honey, cover them in it, dump them in a pit of fire ants. Case solved.

Wow, he's old. What's creepy is that he looks like a friendly grandfather. Too bad he didn't make new friends in the GA state pen.
