I'm sorry, but those lyrics that I posted are incorrect...there are more words to it. Here's the full 1982-1983 ABC lyrics:

They also had that song as being played on Kicks 94.3, a country station which being a rival competitor to WRWD. Back in 1981, the song from the movie was #1 on WABC's survey back in March of 1981 and stayed for one week.
