Is Season 7 (1990-91) the absolute worst?

This was of course, the season that saw the introduction of Billy. It was also when Sam's character arguably, got incredibly unlikable in the sense that she suddenly had nothing but disdain for both Tony and Angela (not to mention a horrific taste in men). And this season also threw Kathleen into the mix of Tony and Angela's "will they/won't they" relationship only to not properly see that out.

Jonathan meanwhile, by this point, went from from being a sweet nerdy kid to selfish and mean teenager. Virtually every time that he was on screen in the last two seasons was to either put Sam down or make a nasty remark about something. Otherwise, Jonathan was largely a non-entity by this point due to the fact Danny Pintauro couldn't really act once he hit puberty.
