Pilot 2

This is not the first pilot, "Love and the Television Set" (aka "Love and the Happy Days"), that aired on "Love, American Style". This is the second pilot that is close to the first episode, "All the Way", eventually aired in 1974. However, the opening and closing credits are different, and a different actress (not Erin Moran or Susan Neher) plays Joanie.

They should have included this and the Love American Style episode as bonus features on the Season 1 DVD set.

There were no bonuses whatsoever on the HD DVD sets and it would have been nice to have these as part of the collection.

Ugh. Studios shouldn't do a copyright claim on something unless they're actually planning to release it themselves. And we all know, sad to say, there ain't gonna be any Shout! or Time Life-style complete series release of the show, where the pilot could (and probably would) be used.
