Default 1990-91 Nielsen ratings

The year in review

Cheers finally becomes number 1 show after 9 yrs, The Cosby and Roseanne had 20% drop from previous seasons, for Cosby it was FOX's decision to move it from Sunday to Thursday 8pm and I guess Roseanne singing? national anthem had affect to her show.

This is also beginning when less people are watching broadcast TV on Saturday night.

Thank you, but I think you meant the decision by FOX to move the Simpson's to Thursday's.

Which did have an impact.

Also, I'm uploading the Nielsen ratings for the same period via USA Today. Again, they are different...

I forgot to add Simpsons, there is 3rd chart with Cheers at 21.3 rating, but USA Today is more reliable source.
