All New Series 'Everyday Life' Starts Production, Will Premiere on
AmericanLife TV Network(TM) Thanksgiving Sunday Link LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- World renowned Reverend Robert A. Schuller, the former host of popular global phenomenon "The Hour of Power," makes his highly anticipated return to cable television with his brand new series "Everyday Life," which goes into production this week in Dallas for the AmericanLife TV Network(TM) (ALN). The show will premiere as a holiday special Thanksgiving Sunday, November 29. This half-hour, 13 episode scripted dramatic series will air on ALN - the only independent network devoted to America's baby boomer generation and their families, delivering classic TV, lifestyle, original and socially responsible programming. The programming announcement was made by ALN President & CEO Chris Wyatt. Provocative and inspiring, "Everyday Life" centers on a traditional small town, and poignantly dramatizes the "everyday challenges" the town's residents face, which they overcome with resilience, dignity and compassion. Rev. Schuller stars and narrates stories about the fictional people that live here with messages of hope, faith and forgiveness. Commented Schuller, "I'm very excited about returning to TV with my new show 'Everyday Life' on ALN. Viewers are looking for messages of hope and inspiration now more than ever and I hope to use my new series to reach people in an inspirational way." "Robert's return will be a television event and is something we've planned for since acquiring the network in February. We're eager to wrap production and prep for the series premiere in November," said Chris Wyatt, president and CEO of ALN. "Everyday Life" is executive produced by Aaron Norris whose credits in television include Walker Texas Ranger, ThePresident's Man, Logan's War. On the feature film side Norris' producing and directing credits include Braddock: Missing In Action III, Sidekicks, Top Dog, Delta Force II. Cory Tynan (Earth: Final Conflict, Play'd: A Hip Hop Story, Hotel), also serves as executive producer and writer on the series. Alin Bijan and Dee Evans serve as producers, with Bijan directing. The series editor is Michael Duthie and Kevin Kiner is the composer. The series premiere cast of "Everyday Life" will feature former WCW World & US Champion star Steve Borden a.k.a "Sting," (TNAWrestling: Turning Point, TNA Wrestling: Bound for Glory IV, TNA Wrestling: No Surrender), Terry Kiser (Walker Texas Ranger, Weekend at Bernies, Weekend at Bernies II), actor and musician Brad Hawkins (American Dreams, Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story, V.R. Troopers), and Lydia Mackay (Fullmetal Alchemist, Trinity Blood). "After months of pronounced anticipation from a visibly devout fan base we are excited to welcome Dr. Schuller back to television with his new series 'Everyday Life'," said Aaron Norris, executive producer. Reverend Schuller, former Senior Pastor of Crystal Cathedral Ministries, is widely known for hosting a worldwide weekly television program entitled, "The Hour of Power." Based in the US, the internationally televised ministry had offices in The Netherlands, Canada, Russia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Hong Kong. With more than 20 million viewers around the globe, Dr. Schuller is considered one of the most listened-to orators in the world. His vision is to change the face of "Judeo-Christian" media with compelling programming that entertains and engages, that reaches young and old, and that drives viewers to engage more fully on a personal level. The network may be targeting 78 million boomers, but it sure isn't available to that many people yet.
I remember other Christian based dramas--"This is The Life", "Insight" and "Westbrook Hospital" |

Wow this is a powerful way to pass along a great message or let the viewers figure out the message for their own life. I hope the episode wins an Epiphany award for which it has been it has been nominated.
I have shown it to friends across the world and young or older, single or married, all found a positive sense after and through the program If anyone missed the first episode here is a link to the 23 mi nute show:http://tinyurl.com/ya28xza |
