The 10am airing of Ruby and the Rockits on Saturdays is a repeat, correct?
I still don't understand why ABC Family keeps renewing Greek. I remember seeing ratings for most of its season, and it was around 450,000 viewers. For ABC Family, thats pretty pathetic. Lincoln Heights should do well as its third season premiere hit a series high (1.66 million viewers). Other than Monday's primetime, ABC Family really has nothing else to talk about.

Yes, encore of Ruby on Saturdays at 10am. They need to bring back Kyle XY or at least give it a two-hour movie to wrap things up. That was a great show.

They've been running Full House and Sabrina for what feels like ages now, it's time that they swap the shows out with something else, it's no longer 1999 and these shows have got to be appealing less to teens now.

I have to say that I like their schedule.
Although, with Step by Step soon expiring, I think it should at least get 2 airings a day. The problem I have with their schedule is 2 episodes of Full House, Sabrina would be enough. And only 1 Gilmore Girls cuz the earlier airing is just a repeat of the later airing from a day before. So too much of those shows, especially with Step by Step finishing its 8 year run on the network. No chance My Wife and Kids does well for them at 1. Why not bump Sabrina to 1-2PM, Full House 2-3, WILAY 3-4, and then My Wife & Kids 4-5 in the later afternoon so that it's the more modern shows together not leading into the younger skewing Sabrina out of the even younger skewing Full House. Like the addition of Fresh Prince to the daily schedule. 6-7PM is my favorite time ever for Fresh Prince. I could see it doing very well with the teenage crowd with FP and then That 70s Show. All in all, nothing much changed but I'd say I'd like to see more variety, a more exciting primetime, an overnight schedule without paid programming and getting rid of the Christian programming. Those last 2 things sort of take away some of the network's credibility in my opinion. Come on guys, Fresh Prince is on two channels now. TBS 9-10 am and ABC Family 6-7 PM (4 airings total). There's no longer an overdose I really like what's happening with Fresh Prince now with it off Nick at Nite and The N soon. I could see it coming to BET at some point soon, though. |

Pavan--a note about your blog about this--The Wedding Date is a theatrical release, not an ABC Family original.....I saw the movie a few years ago on DVD

Doubt it will ever air on CSPAN, The Weather Channel, HGTV, Animal Planet, or Food Network, or CMT Last edited by noveel : 08-05-2009 at 04:39 AM. |

Step by Step is going to be extinct. No full season DVD releases and once it leaves ABC Family there is no network, in my opinion, where it seems like it would be a good fit.
