AOLVideo.com Launches Sony and Fox Channels; James Noble Interview on JustMyShow.com

AOLVideo.com yesterday announced some wonderful and big news yesterday. They have made deals with Sony and Fox to put TV shows on demand on AOLVideo.com! They also have made movie deals, but I won't get into that (you can read the full press release below). The Sony shows are divided into two channels: AXN (for Action shows) and FunnyBone (for classic sitcoms). The shows on these two channels will be free for streaming play but $1.99 per episode if you want to view it in AOL Hi-Q. The AXN channel has episodes of '70s action shows Charlie's Angels, SWAT and Starsky & Hutch. They have made available the first half-dozen or so episodes from each series. On the FunnyBone channel, we have three sitcoms: Who's the Boss?, Action, and NewsRadio! As with the dramas, the episodes are going in order. All of these shows are on DVD, so let's hope Sony puts shows that are not on DVD like Silver Spoons and One Day at a Time!
As for the Fox channels, they will create five channels, but will be for pay only. Among the channels include a Fox Classic channel with shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Hill Street Blues.

And our friend Eric from JustMyShow.com has put together his eighth episode and it features two classic TV stars. The new podcast features interviews with Robert Pine (Sgt. Getraer on CHiPs) and James Noble (Governor Gatling on Benson). Noble talks about who he thought won the election on the finale of the show and his new movie company. It is a good interview and I suggest all fans to watch! You even hear his thoughts on where Benson could have taken place! There is a bonus clip as well as Noble talks about his guest shot on Perfect Strangers. Click here to listen.
