A Sitcoms Online Exclusive--Warner Bros. Television Orders More Episodes of New Series

Warner Bros. Television has sure had a lot of new TV series this fall on network television, with most doing just average, except for ABC's Invasion which has already gotten a full season order as well as FOX's sitcom The War at Home. The WB's Supernatural has also done well for The WB and has gotten the full season nod. Everything else hasn't done too well in the ratings or is doing average. The WB is expected to announce on Monday that it has picked up 5 additional episodes for the sitcom Twins and 6 additional episodes for the drama Related, bringing both series up to 18 episodes for the season. As for ABC's Hot Properties and Freddie, they both are also expected to get additional episodes, but again not the full back nine. Earlier this week The WB cut the series order for veteran What I Like About You from 22 episodes to 18 episodes. There was a big job cut for Warner Bros. and most of their shows will not get the back nine picked up on new series, so expect 18 episodes or so if any additional episodes are picked up.

Warner Bros. Television New Series Round-Up:
Full season (22 episodes): Invasion (ABC), The War at Home (FOX), Supernatural (The WB)
