Illinois native Kevin Dunn began his acting career at Illinois Wesleyan University. Upon graduation, he devoted the next 12 years of his life honing his craft on Chicago stages.
Dunn's first major screen role came when director Alan Parker cast him in the controversial film, "Mississippi Burning," with Gene Hackman. Other roles followed, including "Only the Lonely," with John Candy; "Dave," with Kevin Kline; "Chaplin"; and the Oscar-nominated "Nixon," with Anthony Hopkins.
On the small screen, Dunn has had guest starring roles on series such as "Cheers," "Family Ties," "Dear John" and "Seinfeld." He has also appeared in the made-for-television movies, "Blind Faith," "Unforgivable" and "The Four Diamonds."
He can be seen in the upcoming cable movie, "Second Civil War"; and in the feature films, "Edward & Hunt," "Picture Perfect" and "Sixth Man."
