HEEEEEEEY! WAZZUP!? That's right! MARTIN, THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON is available on DVD. Now you can all 27 episodes of the hilarious third season of MARTIN. MARTIN stars Martin Lawrence as radio personality Martin Payne. He's supported by a stellar cast that includes Tisha Campbell as Gina, Thomas Mikal Ford as Tommy, Carl Anthony Payne II as Cole and Tichina Arnold as Pam, Martin's nemesis.

Memorable Episodes / Notable Guest Stars:

Some of the memorable episodes this season include "In Search of Martin" in which Martin joins a cult. "The Closer I Get to You" in which Martin fills in as host of ‘Word On The Street.’ "Movin' On In" in which Gina and Martin decide to finally live together. "Momma's Baby, Martin's Maybe" in which Gina's mother visits. "Whole Lotto Trouble" is the one in which Martin wins the lottery. "Feast or Famine" in which the guys compete against the girls on Thanksgiving. "Go Tell It on the Martin" in which a deranged man takes over Martin's television show. "Best and Bester" is the one in which Martin has to pick between Tommy and Cole to be his best man at his wedding. "Wedding Bell Blues" in which Martin and Gina decide to elope. "Love is a Beach" is the one in which Martin and Gina finally get married.

In addition, the guest stars this season include Judyann Elder, Tracy Morgan, CeCe Winans, BeBe Winans, Shirley Hemphill, Vivica A. Fox, Whitman Mayo, Gary Coleman and more!

The front cover is red in color and features a large picture of Martin as well as Tisha Campbell. It also features Martin as Mother Payne. It is a flip fold case, but it is more compact than most flip-fold sets are. You open it and there are two discs on each side. The discs themselves are red and yellow in color.

Disc 1 is yellow in color, features Martin Lawrence as Martin, and contains episodes 1-7. Disc 2 is red in color, features Tisha Campbell as Gina and contains episodes 8-14. Disc 3 is red in color, features Martin Lawrence as a police officer and contains episodes 15-21. Disc 4 is yellow in color, features Martin Lawrence as a woman and contains episodes 22-27.

Menu Design and Navigation:

The main menu immediately pops up and features three video clips playing as the theme plays and after it is done it loops. There are two selections on all of the discs "Episode Index" and "Languages". "Episode Index" takes you to a sub-menu and a list of the episodes that you can select to play. "Languages" takes you to another sub-menu where you can select English as the language and English, French or Spanish subtitles.

Video and Audio Quality:

The series is in great shape. Video is great and it is still hard to believe it has been thirteen years since this season originally aired! The audio is fine, so nothing to be worried about there. Each episode appears to be uncut, I would assume, and they run around 22 minutes in length. There are chapter skips on each episode.

Special Features:

There are not any on this set. Let’s hope in the future they consider giving us some bloopers at least, since this sitcom was all about fun.

Final Comments:

Another good release. I am disappointed that there are no special features again. What a shame. Overall, the set is good. It is very simple, basic and compact. There is not much else to say but Martin is a hilarious sitcom and any fan of truly funny sitcoms should check it out. In addition, any Martin Lawrence fan would obviously want to own this.
