Question #1:Why did you become an actress? Who were your influences
both in and out of show biz?
Answer #1: A friend of my Moms had a friend who was
just starting out as a child's Agent and told my
Mom to take me in and meet her- Mary Grady.My Mom
did and Mary Grady signed me on and the first
interview I went on I got at age 5.It was a commercial
for First Federal Bank.
My influences in the business were most of
the people cast and crew that I worked with from the
beginning of my career.Out of the business,my influences
were watching other actors on t.v. and in films.
Question #2:Why were'nt you in the opening credits of the first
season?
Answer #2: I wasn't in the opening credits of the first
season because I had a featuring position on the show
and that is where the producers placed me.
Question #3:We know you had a crush on Potsie on the show and married
Chachi, but did you have a crush or date any of the cast members?
Answer #3: I had a little bit of a crush on Henry.I dated
Scott for a short while when we first met.
Question #4:Do you keep in touch with any of the cast?
Answer #4: I talk on the phone and see most of the cast
members.
Question #5:Explain your off the set relationship with Fonzie,
Richie,
Mr. and Mrs. C, etc...
Answer #5: The relationship with everybody is more than
just friends.It goes deeper then that.More on the level
of family!
Question #6:Do you think your character was "be-littled" until they
needed you when Ron Howard left? Ever feel cheated?
Answer #6: I haven't ever thought my character was "be-littled".
I haven't ever felt cheated either.
Question #7:Where there many fights on the set? More than regular?

got along and who did'nt?
Question #8:We saw you on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" but what are you
doing now and why don't we hear much about you?
Answer #8: Well,it is certainly not by choice at this time
you don't see or hear about me.This business is very
unpredictable.A lot of it is luck and being in the right
place at the right time.
Question #9:What is im your future as far as movies, tv shows,
mini-series? When?
Answer #9: I wish I could predict the future! I can only
say I would love to be apart of a movie,a television series,
etc. Only time will tell when it will be.
Question #10:Are you married? Kids?
Answer #10: I am happily married to a wonderful man.He is
not in the business.We don't have children as of yet.
Question #11:What shows did you watch when on Happy Days? Now?
Answer #11: I watched a lot of old movies:Cary Grant,
Katharine Hepburn,Betty Davis...etc...T.V. shows were
Father Knows Best,I Love Lucy,Room 222,Welcome Back Kotter,
Brady Bunch,Bob Newhart,Mary Tyler Moore,I Spy,Mission
Impossible....and of course Cartoons on Saturday.My
favorite-Bugs Bunny!!
Question #12:I read somewhere you were a born again Christian. True? A Christian or a wild child or both?
Question #13:I also read somewhere you where abused as a child, is this true? PLEASE explain? Did this mean as a child actor or a child?
Answer #13: I have never been abused in the business!
There was mental and physical abuse in my family.
Question #14:Would you ever do anything different in your life on
Happy Days? Do you regret anything about the show?
Answer #14: The only way it could have been different
for me on Happy Days is if my life had been any different
then it was.I don't regret anything about the show.
Question #15:Do you think Joanie and Chachi should have married?
Answer #15: Yes,I think it was a good thing that Joanie
and Chachi married.
Question #16:Why do you think that the show "Joanie Loves Chachi" did
not work?
Answer #16: Joanie Loves Chachi was never intended to go
any further than it did.It was set up exactly the way the
producers and the heads of the network wanted it to be.
Which was:A limited time run.
Question #17:Happy Days is being followed by the younger generation
[like me, I am a teen] do you have any advice for them?
Answer #17: My advice to the younger generation is not
to lose focus on what is right and what is wrong!
Try to be a good person and a good neighbor.
Question #18: Is there a re-union in the future?
Answer #18: I couldn't say one way or the other about
a Happy Days reunion.
Question #19:What would you think/do if Happy Days was made into a
movie like "The Brady Bunch" was in recent years? Who would you cast
as yourself and others?
Answer #19: I have thought about Happy Days made into
a movie.As far as the original cast not being apart of
it,wow,I don't know who could be who!I just don't see
it going in that direction.I can see the original cast
doing the movie very easily though.
Question #20:Did you like dressing in the "Happy Days apparell"? I
mean the 50's clothes? What were the ups and downs?
Answer #20: I liked wearing the 50's wardrobe.It was hard
in the beginning.The first shows I wore regular young
girl dresses.Then a little later I got to where the
poodle skirts and such.
Question #21: Are you still being re-conized as Joanie Cunningham?
Answer #21: I am still being recognized as Joanie and
probably will as long as Happy Days is playing on
t.v. and remembered by Happy Days fans.
