I would let my kids watch the earlier eps, always. But after season 3 would wait until they were 8 or so.

I think that if my kid was say, 12 years old, I would let them watch Roseanne by themself. I wouldn't be entirely comfortable watching stuff like that with them. I never watched Roseanne when it originally aired, but my mom watched all of them. I'm 13, and I haven't yet come to one of Roseanne's sexual jokes that I didn't understand. I hear worse things walking to my locker at school, I think I can handle it. Masturbation, drugs, and sex are all going to be parts of every childs life. They are going to face peer-pressure with these issues. Roseanne's more risky episodes usually have a good moral to them, so I think it could be an entertaining and educational experience for teens.

I would let them watch it. There are very few, if any, sitcoms that I wouldn't allow my children to watch, that I would also enjoy. I would be sure to watch the show with my children. Point out whats right, point of whats wrong. I don't think I would ever let TV babysit my children, unless it were some sort of Disney movie or children's programming.

I would love for my kids to watch Roseanne. It dealt with real life situations and working class people.

Okay, I'm 12 and my mom lets me watch it. Its my favorite show of all time. My mom has been watching it since it came on, and I remember watching it when I was real little. So, I think its fine to watch it. It gives kids a fuller outlook and perspective of life, which is important to have in this day in age. I don't find anything wrong with it. Especially, since I can relate to the stuff they talk about. I'm from a middle-class family, so I can understand what's happening. All in all, I think kids should be allowed to watch the greatest show of all time, "Roseanne".

I have been watching Roseanne since it first aired. My oldest daughter was 4 years old. She began watching the show when she was 9. Then my other daughter began watching it when she was also 9. They are now 21 and 16. They love Roseanne, they laugh so hard. They always tell me when a certain episode is on. I have no problem with the show whatsoever. Just the inconsistencies=LOL

I applaud you Ms. Legal. But I'm curious if you have one or two inconsistencies that jump to mind right away. Maybe start a new thread<right term?
