[QUOTE=wiseguy182]I don't know if it's different elsewhere, but when and where I grew up, there was no teasing about small size in the guys locker room, because if you did that, you would have been accused of looking, which came with its own set of problems.QUOTE]

Yep, I agree. I don't rule out the possibility that a guy or two (or more) made EAR feel insecure, but if he WAS insecure about his penis size, it's more likely that the insecurity came from a woman (her reaction or remarks). Also, a lot of guys are "growers not showers", so it's hard (no pun intended) to see who is packing what until one is fully excited. If EAR was that "little", it's more likely to have been noticed during intercourse when he was erect, and his girl/date was like "um, you're not in" and he says "yes I am!" LOL.

Haha, I guess you guys are right that it would be unlikely that a man would tease in a locker room. It would be far more likely that a woman commented on it (or perhaps he was insecure seeing others' sizes, but I digress). That "I'm not in" scenario was explored in a Sex and the City episode, by the way "Put it in!" "It is in." *cue disappointment*

But in all seriousness, I do wonder if this triggered some of his anger. Insecurity, jealousy (of other men), fury about comments..sounds plausible. Of course, we have no idea what other factors in his life made him feel compelled to lash out this way. It's fascinating to speculate. I definitely wonder about his upbringing and childhood. For the record, I think his "Mommy, mommy" episode was just an intentional red herring. He knew that everything he said and did would be noted.

A great resource on the EAR/ONS, he has every attack is broken down. Under his "update" section he has claimed he is 99% certain he has found the identity of the EAR/ONS, we will see what plays out.

Hmmmm...he starts unveiling about a week from now. I hope it's at least something interesting/plausible and not a huge let-down!

I am now 99 percent sure that I have identified EAR. He is dead. On the whole his family lived near Manzanita Blvd, near where he grew up. He worked in Rancho Cordova, where he also had relatives close to Moraine Circle. He dropped out of High School. He worked the family business. He left the area and returned, owned the business he grew up in, and then died relatively young. I will proceed under the assumption that he had an accomplice on occasion and that this accomplice is my POI in Lake County, whom Iím relatively sure knew Brian Maggiore. By Force of Reasoning, I will detail the connections in Portrait of Terror, and then continue in detail, if appropriate, in a suspect page. I am working on it daily. I hope to have it up soon. The delay is caused by the graphics, attempting an icon of EAR as he looked at each attack. Pictures will show the work area, maps will show family homes in relation to attacks . . . and, yes, he could bike from Whitney and Mission (No. 26) to home.

I know! I was reading that page on his/her site this afternoon. Spooky! I, too, am hoping it's not a big ole let down. I'd love to see this creep unmasked.

thanks for that, what a tremendous resource. Very detailed. Some of it is definitely horrifying to read, the part from the first attack where he woke up the victim by tapping on the windows was definitely creepy.

interesting that he might have had an accomplice on some occasions. Perhaps that was the lookout person?

I honestly think the ransackings of the house did have a "purpose": he was biding his time until he could go back and rape the victim again (shudders). He used that to kill time until he could get aroused again.

So far, I've read about the first 7 incidents.

This is a popular question on the "official" EAR/ONS message board http://earonsgsk.proboards.com I'm no so sure he ever "finished" in a victim, he had trouble actually carrying out many of the rapes.

"Sudden Terror" is considered the "bible" of the EAR/ONS case, but I found Detective Richard Shelby's "Hunting a Psychopath" to be very informative and did no include any faux police dialogue like Crompton's "Sudden Terror".

Yes, I've just finished reading the first part with Victim #1 and I'm already horrified. This creature certainly messed with his victims minds as well as violating them physically. It would've been a terrifying time to live in that neighbourhood when all this was going on.

Wow, on #35....I find #27 victims response to be unintentionally funny! wake up! No! I don't want too! Ugh, leave me alone! that girl wasn't playing around she was the youngest and had an older mother. From what I gather, they did not want to cooperate with police...also...the Asian lady who said he was bigger than her husband...I felt bad for her husband
