Before she headed back to college, my daughter made this for her little cousin's/my great niece's birthday.

Recently finished this, the main reason I did this one was to work on drawing hands. Granted I've been drawing for over 40 years, hands (and feet, more so feet) have been my weakest skill sets. My daughter who I taught to draw initially is now giving me lessons. To quote Darth Vader: "The circle is now complete. When I met you I was but the learner. Now, I am the master."

Isolation Art.

All of these I drew the last couple a weeks (lotsa free time)

The bottom pic was colored by my daughter.

All done with pencil, my daughter used color pencils for the coloring.

^ Those drawings would make for a cool comic book/graphic novel series.

Back in my 20s I flirted with the idea of getting into that field, a friend of mine and I even created several different characters and ideas, I still have the stack of pages of the characters and their backgrounds.
Another comic idea we even got as far as drawing and inking a few pages, I'm not sure what happened to those, my friend might still have them.
That one we had the whole story planned out, it was inspired by a short story I wrote for a creative writing class I took in high school.

Default Quarantine Art

My daughter and I converted one of the outbuildings into a little art studio for her: partly so she can be as messy as she wants, plus a place she can get away.

She made this for the building's light switch.

(Clay and acrylic paint)

That is so wild, she has a great imagination.

You could still give it a try maybe even use one of those self-publishing sites if they're not too expensive. It might be fun to try it, my son has several graphic novels of The Walking Dead and 30 Days of Night. I've read some of them and liked most of them. That's pretty much the only type of book he will read since it has pictures.
