Prediction for fall:

One way or another, weekday cartoons will be expanded, either a half hour or a full hour. The expansion will be into the 6 am hour.

One way this could be done would be to add the Flintstones back to the weekday schedule, at 6 am. Then Toon in with Me could be 90 minutes, starting at 6:30 am. They could do this by adding the Hanna-Barbera cartoons to the show. They could expand the show by adding very little live content, just adding more cartoons.

I think they should try 6:00am on Saturday.

6:00am Popeye
6:30am The Pink Panther
7:00am Tom And Jerry
7:30am H-B Shorts
8:00am Scooby Doo
9:00am Looney Tunes
Or
6:00am The Flintstones
6:30am The Jetsons
7:00am H -B Cartoons
8:00am Scooby Doo
9:00am Looney Tunes
They should also have Tooney /Bill + a new puppet host (minus the skits).

Yeah I'm all in on that for Saturday! And they could really get brave and fill the whole morning like the networks did.

I've never seen the original Scooby-Doo so that would be really coll to see.

I can't see them intruding anymore on the most watched Western block.

Would be really neat if they used the Banana Split song as an opening theme for the H-B cartoon block. Of course all of this is just hypothetical, because we don't know what the Fall schedule looks like yet.

Agree. MeTV doesn't mess with success. They would only do it if there is any weakness and they thought they could do better.

To open an H-B block they could also use the Huckleberry Hound Show theme song.

I hit 'im pretty hard on their site and on twitter for that unprofessional mistake. Couldn't believe an "expert" would make that gaff.

The Inspector episode was a repeat from a Saturday Pink Panther Party show.

In Jerry Beck's Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies book, they call the cartoon Pop 'Em Pop. Seems only the title card of the cartoon itself gets it right--Pop 'Im Pop.

There are supposed to be sources (references) on Wikipedia, but this statement does not have one. Here it is:

Seemed pretty clear the 'Im was referring to the "giant mouse".

Him = 'Im

Just saying, "I'm Pop" should have been enough for Mr. Curator to think

something was amiss. I'm waiting for Jonny Quest or possibly Superfriends to

appear at some point. Probably offtrack on those thoughts.

re-run from the M-F show.

Porky & Roland are 1st timers.
