if you have 2 VCR's you will need to look at the back of them to see what inputs/outputs it has, probably either RCA jacks with seperate red, white and yellow connectors for stereo audio and video or an S-video jack.

once you figure that out you'll need to get the appropriate cable or cables and adapters to go from the output plugs of the playback VCR to the inputs of the recording VCR

hook them up together then select the proper input source on the recording VCR and try to record something

if you can find your manuals for each VCR that would probably help.

if that fails, you could try taking the tape in to your local camera shop/developer and ask them what they'd charge to just transfer the video to DVD and make enough copies for everyone.

I'd just convert it to DVD and be done with it. Then it is much easier to make copies as needed (plus the quality won't degrade over time).
Just search online for VHS to DVD. It's really quite easy if you have a VCR and a halfway decent computer. Or there are services that will do this for you too.

I know that Walgreen's stores offer the vhs to DVD transfer service. The initial cost is fairly pricy (around 35 bucks from what I remember) but the individual copies beyond that are fairly inexpensive (five bucks or so). I know a lot of companies that will do this for you fairly reasonably, especially if it requires no editing, just a straight transfer. Feel free to PM me here, or email me at repeatshistory@yahoo.com for information about those people. Always willing to lend a hand! Later!
