Well, actually yes you're right. If I have them at home I could minimize the carbs pretty decently. I know I could find a brand of higher fiber lower carb higher protein waffles or pancakes out there (I've seen them in the past) and if I use the lite syrup reasonably wouldn't be too bad. But outside in a restaurant, never!

And since I don't have a problem with cholesterol or sodium I could have a small portion of ham, bacon or sausage.

"Essential" set.

But the episodes are just the same on both sets (running time, commercials, Ricky singing).
I don't agree....The set i bought before "essential" was released is pictured at the top of this thread as "Fun With Ozzie & Harriet", mine is 4 discs and is the first 38 episodes exactly as "essential". perhaps it was issued in different configurations.

My set is exactly the same too, as the first four discs. of the 100 episodes. I hate that they included these very same shows in the 100 episodes since I already had these same episodes. Oh well, guess that's what happens when I have to have them "immediately" as they're released.

How about the commericals for the dog food with 100% USDA certified horse meat... that one's always a shocker to me when I see it. I don't think they allow that in dog food any more...

I remember many years ago, they tried to sell horse meat for human consumption in the grocery stores. It was kind of blue in color. Obviously, it ddidn't sell, thank goodness.

Ozzie did a great deal of commercials on the show and I especially like the one where he tells the audience you do not need a color camera to use color film. A classic.

Must be. Mill Creek did that with a couple of cartoon sets I have from them.

Anyway, I scanned the back cover of the "Fun With Ozzie & Harriet" and the backs of the sleeves of the first five discs of the "Essential Ozzie & Harriet Collection" sets I have. Sorry that the "Fun With Ozzie & Harriet" scan is big, looked terrible when I tried to make it smaller.

I thought I read before that the 100 set was actaully a mistake. It was suppose to be broken up into different sets. But somehow a snafu happened and 100 episodes were all released on one set, Which is also why the price for 100 of them was so cheap.

Did anyone else hear anything like that?

There's a 206 episode set on sell.com, for 59.95 on 41 DVD's. I've been debating on getting it.

I wonder if David is ever going to release all 400+ episodes.

I highly doubt it. It would be nice, however.

I doubt David ever authorizes the release of all the show. I think that will change at his death because the grandchildren will more than likely be in control and I believe they will do it. I guess David is honoring his father's wishes by not releasing them.

"Ozzie and Harriet: The Lost Episodes Collection"--"Episodes never Syndicated or Released on DVD"-- we can see it now, can't we?

While I would love to see all the 435 episodes, I agree with CJ and Honeybea that Dave will probably never release them all, but the grandchildren most likely will, so while I would love to see them, I hope it's a long time in coming.

Many happy and healthy years to Dave!!!

Maybe the grandkids would release Ozzie's Girls too.
