Did anyone on FOL ever wear an apron and make fish chowder? I'm sure there was some apron wearing, but the fish chowder part?

As far as I can recall, there's no mention of fish chowder. Charlie mentions clam chowder and fish soup in episode 6-23, "Sisters", but Jo has taken off her apron by that point in the episode.

Of course, I might need to do a little research... They did work in food service for five seasons, so it's very possible I'm overlooking something. But if it's not cheese dip, rice pudding, cinnamon buns, string beans, or mystery meat, I tend to pay less attention anyway.

Ooh, Barbara's skates even resemble Tootie's skates in one of the episodes (she had, like, ten pairs of skates)!

Are you telling me Mrs. Garrett never served up some julieann haddock?

(Okay, the correct term is ‘julienne’, but you have to cut me some bad joke slack here)

We've long suspected Mrs. Garrett served julieanne haddock, certainly in that Halloween episode!

Would have tied in great if I could have found a Valerie recipe for haddock, but I'm just seeing ones for cod, salmon, tuna. I guess out of respect for a fellow kid actor she doesn't want to slice and dice the haddock.

(Which reminds me. Before Sunday I have to dig up the Valerie's Home Cooking thread and plug the season premiere)
