That freaked me out when they played the actual 911 tape and the game came on saying "who said you could use the phone?" and she started screaming.

I have to go with the creepy tipster in the Charles Horvath segment. The first note was scary enough...but saying the searchers were looking on the wrong side of the bridge and then an actual body shows up! Even though that body had nothing to do with Charles and was likely a suicide, it always freaked me out. The letter was likely a hoax, but what are the odds there would just happen to be a body on THAT side of the bride according to the writer? Creepy.

My guess is that the letter writer witnessed someone jumping of the bridge, and wanted authorities to find that body. That doesn't explain why he pretended that it was Charles Horvath, though

You just made me think of something with TJ case. At the end of the segment Stack said Tom tried to setup a meeting with another person just weeks (or months?) before but chickened out. Do you think he actually brought all the money or a check to actually purchase the computer - as a backup plan? In case he chickened out on his original plan of murder - he could still act normal by buying the expensive computer with a fake check and taking off only to do the hit later on with another person or couple?

people can take 60 pills or so and have maybe 5 - 15 minutes before they are disabled. so this gives Cindy plenty of time to tie herself up. She committed suicide and u can tell because she faked the phone calls, and was depressed.

Watched the Blind River Rest Stop segment yesterday for the first time in a while, I purposely watched it during the daylight hours.

I'm pretty sure the blind river segment would fit in most people's scariest list.

has anyone from the blind river case ever posted on here? family members potential witnesses etc? I was thinking about this case recently. I was driving on the interstate and I saw and RV with a "we don't dial 911" sign on it. Also they had gun logos too.

When Earlow Costine and the police officer open the door and the smell of a dead body overwhelms them enough to slam the door. It's always stood out to me as an especially scary moment.

And for good measure, the random craft in the Madonna and Child painting is weird, too. Some articles I've read online say this one is likely symbolic (i.e. non-earthly origin object=Jesus not being from this world). Still creepy, though, if you think about alleged sighting in the sky in the late fifteenth century.
I agree with you totally. but as a young kid those UFO segments got to me.

That segment had some pretty eerie moments, especially the recreations of all the possible murder scenarios. The fact that this all apparently happened about 4 AM in a pretty out-of-the-way locale always freaked me out.

I just re-watched the Philip Fraser episode a few weeks back. That scene when the hitchhiker gets into Philip's car and the camera pans back and up to show the mountains, along with that music creeped me the hell out!

I know. I watched this segment during the morning today and saw him drive up that hill. That part was always scary to me since its the beginning of the end for phil. Today I was wondering how Phil felt when driving up that hill, was he guilty or afraid of the killer since he tried to take off seconds before? Did the guy pull a gun out soon thereafter?

The hitchhiker in Canada reminded me of the HBO tv series in the 80s when I was a kid. It was called "The Hitchhiker" and filmed in Canada and usually about murder or sex.

Imagining any of these situations happening to you makes them freaky. I just watched Devil's Backbone and the Gettysburg segment after a long time of not seeing them. Believe, Don't Believe, whatever way you feel just imagine how damn horrifying it would be to see ghosts from the past/feel like you're stuck with them in the past (the elevator scene in the Gettysburg segment and the army riding on horses in the Devil's Backbone segment). I would probably lose my lunch. Also, I'm stupidly watching these alone at 11 PM and the only one awake in the house.

Yeah it is creepy. it will really do a number on your mind. there is a new feature on Netflix called devil's backbone. it goes more in depth about the guy that was featured. I don't know that it is worth watching. It's more like a blair witch project IMO. he was obsessed with texas history and all of the wars and killing that took place there. I think he was blowing through some good drugs and alcohol.

Also Gettysburg is a very unique place. that campus is something else. I can see why people think it is haunted. I'll never forget in 1989 when I watched the LA Civil War ghost segment. 6 years old LOL.
