Oh No Cher sings for Joe

"HAPPINESS IS JUST
A THING CALLED JOE."
"HE'S GOTTA SMILE THAT MAKES THE LILACS WANNA GROW"

Cringe!!

I can't believe I used to be a huge fan of her. Of course that was 30 years ago when she sang about turning back time while strutting around a navy ship with just duct tape covering her nether regions.

Here she is screeching for Joe at the sad and pathetic end of her career. At least she mercifully spared us the duct tape this time.

I saw that. Pretty sad. and funny, too.

You may NOT like her politics but IMO she’s still a fine singer and a kick-a## actress.

There are plenty of Republican entertainers whose politics I don’t care for, but I’d never deny their vast talent: like Jimmy Stewart, Bob Hope, Rich Little, Audrey Meadows—to name a few.

I even have to admit Scott Baio was great on Happy Days. Can’t speak to Charles In Charge as I never watched it

I wasn't denying Cher's talent. I was commenting on how cringey this was for her to do. The lyrics alone looks like a child wrote them and for someone so accomplished as Cher to stoop down to this banality is embarrassing imo.

As already stated, I used to be a huge fan of hers and bought many of her albums and singles back in the day. In her prime she was awesome and a great actress, but these days she's just sad, and from her Twitter posts that i've seen, she seems to have become a very angry and bitter old woman....with a very big potty mouth. (why do democrats love vulgarity so much?!)

Anyway, if she wants to stump for Biden that's perfectly fine...but good God, at least make it a song worth listening to with lyrics that don't resemble a bad Hallmark birthday card.
