I know I'd be in for it on day one.
I think it's just a question of time until the complete series gets a DVD release. It's a Norman Lear sitcom and basically ran the same length of time like All In The Family, 9 seasons and 200 episodes. I'm surprised that Mary Hartman got a complete series release and One Day At A Time is still in a waiting pattern.

I know. I'm not really that interested in Mary Hartman but I want a One Day at a Time release really bad. Shout also needs to release a complete series of Archie Bunker's Place. Shout released a lot of good complete series sets in 2014 and 2015 but nothing good since then. They finished up Newhart in 2016 into 2017 and now they seem to be working on finishing up Diff'rent Strokes which should hopefully be done in early 2018. I just hope some of these other shows will get complete series releases soon.

I like Mary Hartman and I bought the DVD set when it came out, but I have to say that the 1st season (episodes 1 to 130) is much better than the 2nd season (episodes 131 to 325.) Aside from the decline in the quality of the writing, part of the problem with season 2 is that Bruce Solomon (Sgt. Foley) is absent for most of the season. He came back towards the end but it was already too late, the series was on the way out and Louise Lasser wanted out too.

I would like to see the follow up series to Mary Hartman, Forever Fernwood, get released on DVD. That series is pretty good but I haven't seen any signs that it's being issued.

Mary Hartman, as a Soap Opera Spoof HAD to have a complete series release due to the narrative.

At this point, what will happen first - Norman Lear dying or ODAAT complete series-additional seasons coming out on DVD? Be nice if it came out before he dies - he's like 94!

If you really want to get depressed, go to Amazon and search One Day at a Time blu ray. You'll see seasons 2-9 outlines just sitting there.

Last time I looked, there's only about a dozen active regulars here for ODAAT...but we know the show still has tons of fans...

Maybe the tons of ODAAT fans are afraid to post BECAUSE of the crazy regulars here!!

I really hope Shout releases ODAAT as a complete series. Sounds like they are seriously looking into it. And now that Sony is apparently back in the picture, maybe it is just a matter of time.

I hope Norman Lear lives to see a complete series release of One Day at a Time. All his other shows are complete. I really hope he lives to at least 100. That would be something. It's amazing he's outlived most of the stars of his shows.

That is true but it seems to me that One Day At A Time is a more popular show than Mary Hartman is, that's why I'm surprised that Mary Hartman got the DVD release. I'm glad that Shout Factory released it because I was eager to see the series again, especially the excellent 1st season. It's too bad the excellence didn't carry over into season 2, the 2nd season is blah for the most part.

I hope One Day at a Time gets released very soon as a complete series. It is long overdue.

None have been reported, although supposedly 2 episodes are cut syndication versions due to issues with the condition of the original master tapes. (Although they aired in Canada uncut - those dub tapes must have been wiped at some point.)

‘So Long Mom’ is definitely cut. The box set version starts later then the version LOGO showed.

I remember thinking one the ‘The Married Man’ eps was cut when I was watching , but I’m more hazy on that one....
