We don't know the cause of death yet.

IIRC,Wendy's sister confirmed they were all shot in the head, and in the crime scene photo, you can clearly see the holes in their skulls. Also the handle of a gun was laying near Wendy's remains.
I think there is more about that on websleuths.com.

But he was the one bragging about killing them.

It really doesn't matter who the triggerman was. They were all involved. And it's way too easy to put the blame on Ida, she's dead.

No one says Chad accompanied them to drive them home, and Beverly admits she was the last person seen with them alive. Chad may be charged as an accessory, but I don't think he'll get nailed for the actual murders.
Is the word of the suspects really credible? And wasn't the story that they met chad at a restaurant or something? It's been a while since I saw this segment.

true but I think the point was that the charges would be different for each of them, depending on if they can determine who shot them.
Personally I think it should go bf a jury and let them decide! Not sure it will work out that way though.
At the least you'd think Bev would be charged w accessory to murder.

Has there been any news regarding DNA testing of the clothes and weapons found at the burial site?

I haven't found any current news. I find the Unsolved Mysteries segemnt strange. Beverly and Ida took Wendy,Cynthia and Renee to a restraunt were Chad was with Jonathon for a visit. And then Beverly is supposed meet and another restraunt later that evening? Boy these people must be offal hungry.

Yes it seems Chad wanted to be seen in public. Then the question is why.Guessing it had something to do with the alibi he was planning.IE-I was there, not anywhere else. But we know that timeframe wouldn't have worked. That makes it even more likely, imo, that he had something to do with the actual murders, considering he was the one bragging about it.jmo.
It would be interersting to see what a jury thinks about it.iirc Scott Peterson was convicted that way.

No word about that gun in the hole yet? I thought for sure that would be an easy start. Nothing in the news since June 6. I know I'm impatient.

I know i'm in patient too. Speaking of the segment I think the part were Chad was trying to make Wendy look like a bad mother because he said she didn't play with Jonathon. How arrogant, the woman didn't have ful mulbility in one of her arms and legs from MS what did he exspect her to do? Also seemed to me grasping at straws.

yes oh that Chad was SO arrogant during his interview! He had his nose so literally high in the air I thought he would drown if it was raining! He seems like the type to look down on everyone else.wonder where he got that from.(ida,bev).

I always thought Chad did the ultimate douchey thing by divorcing Wendy solely because she had MS.

Lots of new information on this case, which will hopefully lead to a resolution.

I do have to agree with the posters (and apologies, I forget who it was), who commented that this case isn't going to be a slam-dunk against the Noes.

Mind you, that isn't to say they didn't do it, because I certainly think they did, but proving who exactly did what will take some work.

There is not likely to be much useful DNA evidence with the bodies. If there are usable fingerprints on the duct tape or gun (possible although not likely) that match Ida/Bev/Chad, that would be big, but hair, fiber, etc. are rather pointless - even if they survived, you'd expect to find the DNA of people with whom the victims were undisputedly in close contact with on their persons.

It's been 3 months since the bodies were discovered and we haven't had any updates in a while. I'm growing a little discouraged. I wish there was something new to report.
