Here's another case of somebody suspected of killing their parents. Their dogs were also never found. Nobody realized they were missing for weeks because it was around the time they usually left to go on vacation. They owned several different businesses in Spokane. I found elsewhere online that the son remodeled one of the motels shortly after they disappeared.

Reminds me of this ongoing case: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/..._theodore.html and http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/j/jost_marie.html. The mother's date of disappearance is listed as 1982, but it's possible that she was alive around 1988, but the son's disappearance is perplexing.

This one is bizarre and pretty awful: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/augat_diane.html

To add: Regular followers of CP will probably recall reading this one, it's on the blog now: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/bier_theresa.html I haven't been able to find more recent information on this case.

Wow, wow, WOW! Beyond bizarre. I know some missing persons reports were unfortunately filed way after the fact, but over 3 decades has to be some kind of record. And I know some people take road trips, but a 30+ year road trip? Hard to believe. In any event, I can't believe Marie would still be alive, she'd be 101 and in poor health. The picture of Charles is creepy.

The Diane Augat one is also intriguing. I wonder if they ever checked out that Starlight place.

And Re: Theresa Bier, the guy claims she was eaten by Bigfoot? Right. That guy is guilty.

AAAA, soilentgreen, all of those are terrifying.

This one gave me serious chills. The guy who claims David was involved in Shannon's disappearance is probably the guilty one. Come on, he's a convicted murderer, a sex offender, and he knew the family really well. It seems like he probably attacked Shannon for sexual reasons and David found out somehow. Maybe since they knew each other Raneer let it slip during conversation or said something odd when David mentioned Shannon's disappearance and Raneer felt he had to cover his tracks. Then David was snatched while riding his bike (probably after dismounting) and this Raneer guy just made up a story that David was involved in Shannon's disappearance . Guilty.

Woman abducted from her job: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/g/geise_lisa.html
I've seen this one before. It is really unfortunate that she went to her workplace on her day off and that no one else was around. It is pretty grim how many cases like these there are on the Charley project alone, of someone being abducted from work. Cindy Anderson and Julie Weflen come to mind as well.

Investigators think this guy's disappearance is linked to the murders of two young women the same night: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...ll_steven.html
I want to know why they think this man's disappearance is related to the two murders. Could he have been a possible witness?

Friends couldn't locate a man at his campsite: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...n_michael.html
Horrifying. It is really unfortunate that they can't look more heavily into the suspect, particularly if he really was waving a gun around like that and exhibiting such odd behavior. And the fact that the friends claimed he was wearing Madden's boots. I know there's no evidence, but this is all such a huge red flag. Why would a perfectly innocent stranger behave in such a way and sit there with them for SIX hours? Perhaps most baffling to me is why he wasn't given a polygraph for nine months. It seems so unlikely that this person is innocent of any involvement in the disappearance.

And the Theresa Bier case- ridiculous. A 40-something man goes into the woods with a 16-year-old girl and she never comes back. And this man is still walking the streets. Besides the whole Bigfoot claim, isn't the fact that he changed his story enough to cause them to look closer to him? I know searchers looked in the woods where they were supposed to be camping, but I'm willing to bet he could very well have harmed her and hidden her somewhere outside of Fresno and only claims they went camping- or he could have done something on the way back. I think UIDs between the mountain range and Fresno should be compared to Theresa.

This is a weird one. Canadian woman disappears while visiting friends in Florida. Left behind note which may have indicated suicide, but committing suicide while traveling to visit friends sounds like an odd time to do it.

A few intriguing cases from my home state of Illinois:

I grew up not far from where this one occurred, and it seems like there is so little information on what may have happened to this young man:

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/collman_mark.html

This poor little girl was apparently playing outside and was simply never seen again; possibly another child hurt her somehow?:

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/avon_sarah.html

This little girl and her sister...this case was HUGE when it happened in Chicago in the early 2000s:

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...y_diamond.html

Another 80s "kid playing outside, gets kidnapped" case:

I was thinking about Diamond and Tionda Bradley just a few days ago and checked to see if they'd been found. Was sad to find out that they're still missing.

here's one. Cute kid, but seemed to be displaying all sorts of mood swings in the months previous to his disappearance. He left once before which would normally make me think he disappeared voluntarily, but he also displayed fright.

Some other interesting ones....

Twelve-year-old girl vanishes in New Mexico in 1969, there appear to be quite a few potential suspects:

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/..._patricia.html

Thirty-year-old woman disappears in California in 2004, her clothing is found in some very creepy ways:

^Regarding that first case, it always bothers me when the police figure it's a runaway when it clearly is not. Seems to happen quite frequently.

I remember reading about the other case you mentioned. Creepy and intriguing.

http://www.truecrimediary.com/index....e=cases&id=117 The theory is that Pearsall possibly witnessed something that night.

There's even a facebook site about the murders/disappearances in the region that actually names the suspect in this particular case, who was a member of the theatre: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lewis...14474928700952 The theatre where Pearsall went missing refuses to have the floor examined : http://www.klewtv.com/news/local/46137652.html

It's a mystery if this guy actually was the person using his military ID three weeks after he went mising: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...s_stewart.html

I might be wrong, but I swear I saw this case profiled on a show. If not, it would be a perfect case for Disappeared: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...ck_robert.html

Very odd that his family waited so long to report him missing!

Default Scary cases

Okay, there are a few cases on CP that really boggle my mind, but the most bizarre case I've come across is the disappearances of two young men last seen by the same police officer on two different occasions.
http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/..._terrance.html
http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...os_felipe.html

And oh my I almost forgot. The case of Tara Leigh Calico. The scary thing about this case is the supposed photo that the killer left behind. Two kids blindfolded and gagged. They don't know if it's Tara or not but the photo is incredibly horrifying.
http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/calico_tara.html
Here's a photo of the two unidentified kids:

I remember reading about the first pair of cases you mentioned. I definitely think the police officer was involved.

Not sure if you were aware, but UM did profile the 2 unidentified kids.

I agree. It sure sounds like that cop was involved with disappearances of both Terrance Williams and Filipe Santos.
