It'll be interesting to see how the first 2 seasons look (opening/closing). Those are the seasons that were originally in black and white on ABC. So when they went into syndication, new TV prints in color had to be made. This is probably when they decided to use the newer opening/closing with season 1 and 2. IIRC the original opening went unused until restored by Turner for Boomerang or CN. Also I think the original closing credits for most episodes were lost and a generic version was created, right down to having to come up with a similar font. So those are probably the same for most or all S1 and S2 episodes.

If the credit negatives were lost or tossed, what they SHOULD have done was colorize the original episode credits from the B/W TV prints.

There are similar (but also slightly different) stories about the other H-B cartoons--The Jetsons, Top Cat, and until recently, Jonny Quest. For the Blu-Ray of JQ, they remastered using the TV prints, which for this show, were in color.

Looks like Highway Patrol is replacing Night Gallery at 4 am on the same schedule.

Also I noticed starting this Monday they’re going back to the one hour episodes of Wagon Train at 3 pm with two episodes of The Rifleman from 2 to 3 pm.

Also it appears some of the weekday Summer of Me changes are over, effective today. The second Rifleman is back, and Wagon Train is back to an hour.

That's interesting. They tried Highway Patrol before and they removed it relatively quickly.
