Default Did you know Loni Anderson auditioned for Three's Company??

She auditioned to play dumb blonde Chrissy on Three's Company. If she got that part then she wouldn't have been on WKRP and maybe this wouldn't have existed without a babe like Loni.

It's in the IMDB Trivia section.

This was written about years ago in the book COME AND KNOCK ON OUR DOOR. The producers thought she was "too savvy" and there was no way she would be believable as "someone who couldn't get the rent together" (by herself). They did bring her back in a guest role as that sexy stewardess who ends up dumping Jack.

But an actor should be able to play rich, poor, OR middle class! All she had to do is dress down instead of looking like a porn star!

TC could've still been successful even if she was Chrissy because the show revolved around Jack Tripper and to a lesser extent the hot blonde. And back then Loni Anderson was even HOTTER than Suzanne so plenty of viewers would've tuned in to see Loni!

That's what I was thinking! Loni seemed too sophisticated to play Cbrissy , she wouldn't have played Chrissy as naive as Suzanne did!

But actors are supposed to be able to play a variety of roles remember? She could've been a secretary in an office just like Chrissy was.

What did Loni do on WKRP?? LOL..I never saw that show.

Loni did play a secretary on WKRP but she was in no way the "dumb blonde". Her character, Jennifer, was probably one of the sharpest characters on the show.
