Some clown posted on their Facebook page about an upcoming release but Shout responded with this:

Sorry but there was no announcement for that, and we aren't putting it out

I think the complete series DVD will eventually get released. It's 1970's/80's Norman Lear. If Shout Factory doesn't want to do it, another studio might pick it up. MPI for example. They always do good work with their DVD's.

A few episodes might have music clearance issues. Like those holiday themed episodes where they put on the shows at the retirement home.

Yes the musical episodes are problematic. Shout doesn't think the return on their investment will be worth it because of the music clearances they will have to pay for.

Sadly, MPI has not done business with Sony before so I am not sure it's going to happen through them either. Mary Owen has been trying for a long time to have Sony let MPI have Seasons 6-8 of The Donna Reed Show but stubborn Sony won't budge.

Any fans of this show better go and buy some blank DVD's and create their own collection from season 1 to 11 while it;s still on Antenna TV because the show will never be complete on DVD

Good news everyone. This confirms the show will eventually be released.

I have that set recorded from DejaView and it suffers from an awful audio drone that sounds like someone didn't have their cables connected properly.

And that's exactly why Antenna TV does those credit crunches. To discourage people from recording the shows for a collection.

What I might do, while ODAAT is still being aired, is DVR and save some favorite episodes. I've already DVR'd and saved the final two episodes, Nearness Of You and Off We Go. I might DVR a few more.

For now, I'm glad at least that the 1st season is out on DVD. It's actually my favorite season. Just too bad it's a short season with only 14 episodes. Each of the nine seasons has a share of good episodes, but I didn't like the show as much after Richard Masur left. He and Bonnie Franklin were good together.

There must be more than one set because I got one last year and it was great I have watched probably 100 episodes and never heard an audio problem.

That shouldn't matter, if the Jeffersons was not on DVD and was being aired on Antenna, I would be a credit crunch fan and record every episode lol

My set was recorded around 2006-07 I believe. There is one that came from Comedy Gold airings that aired around 2012-13. I tried to get that set and sent payment but the seller told me twice it must have gotten lost in the mail.
