My sympathy goes out to all the international fans who don't have access yet.

I think they're the original intros - they just don't start incorporating scenes from the show until episode 4 or 5 (maybe they didn't have enough filmed yet to do that when it started, or maybe someone thought the intro needed sprucing up).

Why would he not want it shown? He's the one who wanted to get his story out there to begin with.

Didn't even realize that one of the boys had a knife wound in his back. So happy we get a few surprises this time around.
I thought the same thing, about the knife wound. I may have missed it before, but I don't ever remember hearing that part before. Certainly puts this case from most likely a homicide to definitely a homicide.

Another minor thing I noticed on the Annie Laurie Hearon case: They cut the part of "her" reading the ransom letter the kidnappers mailed. I remember vividly as a kid hearing the female voice say "They've locked me up in the basement of this house with just a few jugs of water..." Yet when I watched the segment on Amazon, that was cut. It is definitely the original segment but that part is out. Not a huge deal at all, just curious why it would have been edited out.

I still love seeing these cases again in all their original glory...

Yeah, but that was way back in the 1990s when the calls and harassment were still ongoing. My thinking is that after all the years that have passed since the segment originally aired, the harassing calls probably stopped. I've read that they actually did stop a long time ago but I don't know how much truth there is to that. Putting the story out there again years later would only encourage crackpots to obtain his phone number and harass him just for fun.

So was watching/buying/selling them on bootleg DVD-Rs and on YT but that didn't stop anyone.

Also, it's not against the law to change and/or mask your IP address. Plenty of people and companies do it for security or privacy reasons. Besides, you still have to become a paying customer to be able to stream them on Amazon. It's not like they magically appear for free streaming or download if you change your IP.

I'm not a pirate. I don't care if other people bought bootleg DVDs. I won't, nor should I have to.

I'm not sure what money has to do with anything. I am well aware how Amazon Prime works, and as I said, I would gladly pay to steam Unsolved Mysteries. No one's trying to get it for free, hon, except maybe the pirates you mentioned.

For the Jenny Pratt case, they only show the first segment. Not the interview segment where Robert checked up on how she was doing. Maybe that's in another episode, or cut out entirely.

It's a form of fraud.

Instead of suggesting unethical "solutions" like faking your IP address, let's focus on finding out why Unsolved isn't available legitimately through Amazon Prime Canada. I just don't get it. What's the hold up? Film Rise specifically said they had international streaming rights...so why isn't it on Amazon Canada or Netflix Canada??

The updated interview was another episode. I believe it was the 100th episode special one they did. I assume we will see it then.

They are actually staying pretty true to most episodes. They updated the Missy Munay case at the end, and they still showed the original update as it aired, so that is cool.

OK - so we'll see if that's in Season 4, Episode 10 when they get to that season. I was wondering if they were going to simply put them as cases, like they did with the DVDs, as opposed to when they aired on TV . But even with the Shannon Davis case, they put the update in a later episode.

Too much to ask to get the Raymond Burr/Karl Malden episodes right?
