I can't wait until everyone's performances, so far I'm loving the song choices.

UGH. Voting sucks when your absolute favorite is no longer in the running.

-Carrie has straight hair tonight. On the clip of her backstage before the commercial break, she looked absolutely stunning.

1. Vonzell Solomon - I'll Never Love This Way Again
I thought it was very shaky, and after watching Jasmine and Anwar do a pretty good job with it, it really paled in comparison. It was just... there. Nothing special.

Clive - don't smile esp. in a song like that [lol .. i dont know why, but i laughed when he said that]
Randy - one of the better singers, but it was pitchy
Paula - pitchy start
Simon - you have two more songs left

2. Bo Bice - Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me

Sunglasses again. He's actually doing a pretty good job -- better than what I would've expected. It's nice, compared to the power ballad versions we've heard in the past.

Clive - heartfelt, powerful, you made elton proud
Randy - you're forever in the dawg pound
Paula - [standing O] pure brilliance, magnificent
Simon - great. really great. i prefer you doing these kind of songs. we'll see you next week.

3. Carrie Underwood - Crying

I thought it was very nice. It was the equivalent of a more powerful "Bless the Broken Road" -- you'll notice that for some reason, it seems unusually short.

Clive - Strong job, you captured the song
Randy - That was perfect, one of your best vocals. That was hot.
Paula - That song is so haunting. Very subdued, nice performance.
Simon - Good job, round 1 to Bo, the performance was a little wooden, but I think that's down to nerves -- wasn't sure about the last note.
