Default Who are the actors?

Someone mentioned that they knew one of the actors who had played the bank manager in an episode about a robbery.

I've always felt that the Unsolved Mysteries re-enactments were beautifully cast and acted. They often give some credits at the end, but never a full cast. How can I find out more about how the re-enactments are done and who these wonderful actors are?

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb)'s entry on "Unsolved Mysteries" has a list of actors in the reenactments. I'm not sure if that list is complete but it's close enough.

I would've loved participating in a re-enactment.

The wonderful thing about the way Unsolved Mysteries recreates their cases is that they go into perfect detail - actually traveling to the exact city where the case took place to film.

I had a friend from junior high school that was an actor in one of the lost love cases. I forget the exact name of him, but he was playing the child version of a man that was looking for one of his siblings. They were reunited in Taylor, Michigan - just a 15 mile drive from where we live.

(I'm guessing they get actors from the city where the case took place.)

I can still remember in junior high school, one of my teachers telling us to catch Unsolved Mysteries that night so we could check out our friend's "TV debut."

Well, there was that segment that featured an early Matthew McCoughnay ....

Plus, I saw that "Sprint" ad guy (the one in the black trenchcoat) in the Stewart Heaton case playing a detective.

If anybody was a fan of Square One TV, as I was growing up, the guy who played George Frankly of Mathnet has been on UM a few times, usually playing lawyers during court scenes. It's funny seeing him there.

yeah, I noticed that guy on there a few times. He was also on a segment about a bank robbery. It was strange seeing him there.
