Any soap opera watchers out there?

I was just thinking about possible hosts for a revamped UM. Anyone familiar with Eric Braeden, aka Victor from "The Young and the Restless?" You may also know him as John Jacob Astor from "Titanic" or Robin Scherbatsky's original father on "How I Met Your Mother."

He's got a great voice. He could be good.

I take it you're familiar with "The Mustache?"

My mom was big into Y&R when I was a kid, so I feel like I've literally grown up with Eric Braeden. His voice is similar to Robert Stack's in that I feel like I could absolutely pick it out of a blind line-up...

My wife watches Y&R. Lately, she streams it on her tablet in the evenings while she does her crafting. You're right about his voice. Even though I'm not usually paying attention to what she's watching, I always know when Victor Newman is on screen.

Love to!

Believe it or not, one person messaged me not too long ago who legitimately wondered if the new voice-over guy reading the opening title card on Amazon Prime was me. If only!

HA! I knew it wasn't Robin because Robin enunciates well enough that he would say "news broadcast" as opposed to "newsbroadcast."

Big Sister Lecture Coming: I'm also doing some cleanup regarding some bickering above... We're one big kooky family, y'all. Let's keep it family friendly. If you want to bicker, take it over to the PM's where I can't see it and then can't tell you what to do.

So you can call him "Rob" when he breaks away to you on occasion?

I don't know why, but that used to irritate the crap out of me-- when KKS called RS "Bob."

Yes!

Now when Robin does his updates to his podcast I want to be the "co-host" just so I can say, "Thanks Rob".
