"Get Off of My Cloud" by The Rolling Stones.
(November 8, 1965).

I don't known whether I should be honored by that or not.

Roy Orbison's (Oh) Pretty Woman was the #1 song on my birthday (10-02-64)
Oddly enough, in 1995 a local radio station did a countdown of the top 600 songs of all time based on listener votes and it came in at #1.

Here's all the songs that hit #1 on my birthday from 1964-1988

The 1980s

1988 Love Bites Def Leppard
1987 Didn't We Almost Have It All Whitney Houston
1986 Stuck with You Huey Lewis & the News
1985 Money for Nothing Dire Straits
1984 Let's Go Crazy Prince & the Revolution
1983 Total Eclipse of the Heart Bonnie Tyler
1982 Jack and Diane John Cougar
1981 Endless Love Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
1980 Another One Bites the Dust Queen

THE 1970s

1979 Sad Eyes Robert John
1978 Kiss You All Over Exile
1977 Star Wars Theme/Cantina Band Meco
1976 Play That Funky Music Wild Cherry
1975 Fame David Bowie
1974 I Honestly Love You Olivia Newton-John
1973 Half-Breed Cher
1972 Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me Mac Davis
1971 Maggie May/ Reason to Believe Rod Stewart
1970 Ain't No Mountain High Enough Diana Ross

THE 1960s

1969 Sugar, Sugar The Archies
1968 Hey Jude The Beatles
1967 The Letter The Box Tops
1966 Cherish The Association
1965 Hang On Sloopy The McCoys
1964 Oh, Pretty Woman Roy Orbison

Everyday People by Sly and The Family Stone (in 1969). It has the lyrics "different strokes for different folks", which is where they got the title for the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes from. Yes the show had it's own theme song with the words "diff'rent strokes" in the lyrics but I know I've read the title was taken from the Sly and The Family Stone song. Everyday People is OK but other than that I'm not a fan of the group.

Coincidentally, one year later on my 1st birthday, Sly and The Family Stone again had the number 1 song on the Billboard pop chart, but I can't remember the name of the song right now. I like to research trivial stuff like that LOL.
