Philippe Pelletier, the American soldier who befriended the Hungarian refugee family in the boxcar after World War II. Real person (in the snapshot they showed of him) cute, actor cuter.

Speaking of guys with French names, someone mentioned Pierre the amnesiac... ooo la la. And he had that dreamy French Canadian accident too (Lachine, his hometown, is in Quebec).

The actor who played Mahfuz Huq (that case is on in the background right now). Much more attractive than the real person in an adorkable way.

And Chucky McGivern. Assuming he was in his teens at the time the segment was filmed, I can only imagine he grew into quite an attractive adult.

On the other side of the coin, the most gorgeous women I've seen profiled or interviewed:
- Teresa Dahl. She had a very "Shawn Colvin" look to her at the time she was interviewed.
- Christie Mutzfeld - I'm watching her case right now.
- Amy Billig was beautiful. The actress who played her even more so.
- Jennifer Pratt. She was still cute even after the incident that nearly killed her and left her with permanent brain damage. It hurt my heart that her own mother talked about her as if she were some kind of burden now that she was no longer "the old Jenny." I also hope to God she had nothing more to do with Curtis Croft (as hot as he was then) afterward. With boyfriends like that...
- Su Taraskiewicz(sp?). Beautiful woman, beautiful actress in the reenactment.

i thought brigitta laramie, the lady whom he befriended as a child, was quite the euro milf.

Rewatched the Steve Sandlin case on YouTube last night. The real Steve was a cutie, but the actor who played him... totally smokin'. Incidentally, I read somewhere that they were renaming a police building in the New Mexico town he lived in in his honor.

And "If I liked girls": Kari Lynn Nixon would have grown up into a gorgeous young woman had she lived.

Just watched the segment on Dorothy Johnson and the actress who plays her is really cute.

I also loved the quote from Donald Caffrey who took the baby when he says "I think my wife thought I maybe was scouting around" with a mischievous grin on his face

The actor who portrayed Chad Langford was a total hottie and had a nice bum too. The real Chad Langford and Chad Maurer for that matter were good-looking guys. As for the ladies, Tara Breckenridge, Crystal Spencer and Jamie Santos were very gorgeous.

The lady that plays the wife of Jack Quinn is a straight up SILVER FOX.
