I was gonna say that the season still ended in March instead of the usual May, but I do believe at the time most sitcoms just ran all 24 episodes in a row with no breaks so that March was the usual end date for all of them.

I think it wasn't until well into the 80's that they pushed it to May where seasons usually ended.

And no matter what MOST people out there say: BLAIR is the sta,r and JO only a CLONE!!!!

I agree with you, Valentina! Blair is my favorite character after Mrs. G. I am not a big fan of Jo, well, I like her but not to the point to consider her the star of the show, since it was an ensemble show, Mrs. Garrett and the girls. I have to say she improved during the later seasons because at Eastland there were times she was really aggressive. And there are several episodes where she is out of character, for example when she plays the piano and when she wants to become a nun

Yes I finally got to see all the episodes and happy to say none of them are stinkers. Even the worst of the bunch is still good.

Thank you for your approval FOL FAN ITA!!!!

Isn't that funny, how you and i just love MRS G and BLAIR in the same order? Those 2 made history!!!!!

I am actually looking forwards to reading cfr1970 review on season 2: and even though i am not a JO fan, her introduction on the show with the episode 'The new girl'will always be my favourite of this season! (i love how the 2 older girls get in trouble together, carrying along their 2 nosy little sisters TOOTIE and NAT, and eventually are saved by the great woman who would become their mother figure as well as best friend)....

In a way i prefer season 2 over season 3, but season 1 is definitely my favourite of them all!!!!

In order it goes:

1. season 1 and the pilot
2. season 5
3. season 4
4. season 2
5. season 6
and
6. season 3.

I never cared that much for season 7 to 9 (although i am still considering buying season 8 since it's the best of the last 3 and also MRS G's big departure)

He said how he's not a fan of season 1, so he's probably just being respectful and not raining on things. If you don't like something, you stay away from it...kind of like how i'll never watch "Molly's Holiday" again in my life.

BTW Lorimar, I finally got around to watching my REBA dvd tonight and tuned into the first 4 episodes. I posted over in that show's page asking about it so pop over there!!
