Married... with Children is a great example of this. It was almost like a totally different show in the first season. Al even tells his bachelor co-worker, Luke, that he should get married. That's something Al would never advise later on in the series. Plus Al and Peg were more loving with one another that first season.

When I watch shows that I like from beginning to end, I'm surprised to find how much things had changed.
On Friends, nobody would have guessed that Ross and Rachel would end up together, break up, have a baby together, and end up back together for good. Or that Monica and Chandler would end up getting together and getting married. In Frasier, nobody would have imagined that Niles and Daphne would end up getting together, getting married and having a baby. |
