I also think the family did that because they didn't want to believe that she was dead. They were in denial about Amy's death so they clung to whatever hope they to believe that she was alive.

They spent lots of money over the years getting ripped off and taken advantage of by people who were capitalizing off of their pain. Sad.

Amy Bradley fell overboard. She went out on the balcony to smoke and sleep (since the boat motion was making her sick), her father saw her out there sleeping shortly after returning to the cabin. Within 30 minutes, she was gone from the balcony and the sliding door was sitting open about 14". The logical conclusion is that she was going to come back in, got sick, went to vomit over the railing and fell overboard.

Yeah, and I do feel sorry for them about that. Dr. Phil was one of those people who capitalized on their pain. We've seen a lot of that on UM (James Van Praagh and many others)

I agree with everyone who said she fell accidentally. And I can't think of anything more fatuous than the 'fear of the railing' argument. There's an endless list of things I would be scared to do sober, but if I'm trashed I won't think twice about (including, but not limited to: dad dancing, eating taco bell, texting former girlfriends)...alcohol doesn't just lower inhibition, it obliterates it

Yep. Always thought this case was simple

Alcohol (hungover) + laying on the balcony of a ship = seasick = vomiting over rail = disorientation and falling overboard

Same. I was really caught up in this case and all the conspiracy around it for a long time, too. Amazing how stepping away for a bit can change your whole perspective.

I felt bad for the family with their conspiracy theories. To me, she was drunk, still drunk in the morning, vomited over the balcony and over she went. I am aware that human trafficking does exist, just not here.

Please explain. How were they able to successfully kidnap her off of the boat?

The last time anyone saw her was on the lounge, either trying to sleep or having a smoke (can't remember if she smoked or not) so someone came in through the room and got her? Look, I can believe IF she was trafficked she would have been taken during an off shore outing. Not from her room with many many witnesses.

For 23 years apparently, all around the world without ever being detected. Sounds hugely likely. White sex slave traders are well known for abducting middle class white woman who will get lots of media attention, with plain/average looks of course.

That is what infuriates me with this case. People actually believe that human traffickers would target the one demographic which would get the most media attention and scrutiny, when reality says the complete opposite.

Yep, I mean I was 12 when I first saw UM & my critical thinking wasn't that great-having been bought up in a house with loads of books on ghosts, UFO's etc, so I bought into foil lady, all the ghost & alien stories etc & thought the skeptical voices they sometimes had on in small doses were just stuffy killjoys in denial.

However, as you get older & start reading more rational stuff you tend to subscribe to Occam's Razor of the most obvious answer being the likeliest, yet nowadays most people just seem to subscribe to the most outlandish theory or conspiracy-Pizzagate, 9/11 being an inside job etc.

Yep - to answer the answer on this thread - where is she? In the ocean, where she fell overboard.

Sad case and I feel bad for the family, but it's 99% likely she fell off the ship.

I have to cringe every time I hear "white slavery" in this segment.

And that purported image of Amy that was emailed to her parents? The very latest that picture could have been taken was the early 90s. Probably late 80s.

Very frustrating as I heard a podcast on the case a few years back & one of the guys said he knew the woman in the photos was doing a casting, as a porn/adult photographer he knew had taken them & said that was fact, but failed to elaborate & I have never seen or heard it mentioned elsewhere. Really the Jas/Jaz photos getting on Dr Phil are the only thing that has kept this sex slave angle going all these years.
