I'm really liking TUBI alot ! One of the shows I have been watching is My Living Doll starring Bob Cummings and Julie Newmar. I had never even heard of this show as it lasted 1 season before I was born. It has 10 or 11 episodes on TUBI. I believe those 10 or 11 episodes are all that exist.

Default Hoopla?

How do you guys all get access to Hoopla?

I've always been told no access at my local library.

They finally added a county over but they demand a library card number.

EDIT: Well I guess that worked. I tried browsing the websites of nearby public libraries and one allowed me to signup online. Oddly even though I have a valid state library card, the other county library could not verify my info. Yet I was given a 30 day card.

I just plugged it in to Hoopla and was instantly in.

YOUTUBE

In the past few weeks, I've been posting videos and shows from an outstanding YouTube channel called TeeVee Classics which has a lot of great and often rare videos from the greatest variety and talk shows from the Golden Age Of TV and a few sitcoms too like "Soap", "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", and the ultra-rare "Stanley" from 1956-57. Last week, I discovered another channel which coincidentally is also named TV Classics except it uses a different and more proper spelling. This channel is composed of mostly classic sitcoms like "The Beverly Hillbillies", "My Three Sons", "Mr Ed", "The Real McCoys", "Petticoat Junction", "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and many more to come.

CTV Throwback

Salvage 1 (1979) (2 seasons) - In this series, Andy Griffith stars as Harry, who runs a salvage operation, in which he and his partners reclaim trash and junk and sell it as scrap (or as other things). One of his co-stars is Joel Higgins of "Silver Spoons". Too bad he couldn't salvage this series, which lasted 2 seasons and then was sent off to the scrap heap and became quickly forgotten. Uncle Earl's Classic TV

ALF Tales - ALF and his friends from Melmac retell classic stories in their own unique way. The 2nd ALF cartoon series spun off from the popular live-action series.

Thank You!

I always wanted to check the show out.

The only thing I knew about the show was when Carson busted in on a taping to ask about his broken cigarette box and mentions on the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. 😂

That was a classic moment for both Johnny & Don that fans of both stars still recall fondly today. Here it is on YouTube:

Johnny Carson visits Don Rickles on set of CPO Sharkey.

This week's new releases, which I hope will last longer than "The Monkees" did on TUBI:

PLUTO TV

Stories Of The Century (Seasons 1 and 2)

Heathcliff (Season 1)

Man With A Camera (Seasons 1 and 2)

Cool McCool (Season 1)

Life With Elizabeth (Season 1)

Green Acres (Seasons 1, 2 and 3)

TUBI

The Nanny (Seasons 1 and 2)

Unsolved Mysteries (Complete Series)

VUDU

Route 66 (Season 2)

The Carol Burnett Show (Seasons 2 and 3)

Uncle Earl's Classic TV

Cheyenne (Season 2)

Bat Masterson (Season 3)

This week, "The Monkees" weren't the only casualty in the streaming world. Today, the PDTV channel (Public Domain Television) on YouTube and all of its playlists that were on the Internet Archive were all taken down, an apparent victim of copyright violations. There were some great shows on there and they might show up again soon. (This is one person who doesn't give up easily!) I will post them if they happen to reappear. One playlist that I wasn't impressed with was "The Brady Bunch". The episodes from the last 2 seasons were downloaded from a website where the video quality was truly awful and painful to watch. To make up for this, here is the entire series in much better condition from the website OK.RU:

The Brady Bunch (Complete Series)

This week, I'll go back to OK.RU and elsewhere to see if I can find some of the series that made up the missing playlists and I'll have them for you to watch again and I'm positive they'll last a lot longer this time.

YOUTUBE

Here's a new set of playlists from YouTube that I am sure is built to last and I believe that you will love it. It's called The OTR Collection. OTR stands for Old Time Radio and the channel spotlights stars and series from the Golden Age Of Radio that had success on TV in the 1950s and 60s, including "Our Miss Brooks", "Amos & Andy", "You Bet Your Life", "Ozzie & Harriet" and many other great TV shows from TV's early days, a lot of which are rarely seen:

Starting this week, I will be binge-watching the NHL playoffs like crazy until their conclusion hoping for a much happier ending than in past years. For those of you who enjoy lesser, inferior viewing tastes, here is what has become available for you this week:

VUDU

The Carol Burnett Show (Seasons 4 and 5)

Route 66 (Seasons 3 and 4)

HOOPLA

Real People (Season 6)

IMDB TV

Space: 1999 (Seasons 1 and 2)

TUBI

CPO Sharkey (Seasons 1 and 2)

Uncle Earl's Classic TV

Bat Masterson (Season 3)

Bachelor Father (Season 5)

The White Shadow (Season 3)

Magnum P.I. (Season 3)

Sugarfoot (Season 1)

The Starlost (Season 1)

Father Knows Best (Season 3)

ARCHIVE

I mentioned last week that the PDTV playlists were down likely due to copyright issues. Now, the channel is back up with new material arriving in alphabetical order a little at a time. Much to my disappointment, the Brady Bunch playlist is still as unwatchable as ever during the last 2 seasons. To make up for this I posted an OK.RU link on the previous page that I know you'll love a lot better. There are still some great shows and playlists on here that are worth checking out for as long as they last, particularly the movies and cartoons sections, so here they are again:
