Thanks to cloggedmind for uploading this.
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7uhga7 This is the infamous episode that is supposed to have Incredible World of Ed Norton. If you take a look at the end of the last sketch, you can tell it ends VERY ABRUPTLY and the next scene has The curtain call. This proves that the last scene was from an earlier episode (and considering the fact during the end credits, Johnny announces “Stay tuned for next week for the Jackie Gleason Show with Frances Langford.”, it makes me believe that the curtain call and end credits was also from an older episode.) Notice how in the beginning, Jackie announces that we will see as a surprise Art Carney as Ed Norton but we don’t see him. Someone (other than the Gleason family) out there hopefully has either the script and/or footage of this episode from its original airing. If only VCRs were around then. |

This link in not to the episode with the missing Incredible World of Ed Norton.
This is a compilation video. Pieces of it may be, especially Burns or Amsterdam. George Burns appeared on 4 episodes from 66-70. The last 1/2 of the like is 2 additional episodes. |

That program is not considered a compilation show-- it was described that way by me as a bit of snark:
I posted that video a while ago and wrote the bit about it being a compilation b/c that is the way it circulates-- with the half of the film that should have been Incredible World spliced out and replaced with other repeat footage. |

The title and description are now updated to reflect the physical alterations made to the film. Anyone with more information about "The Incredible World of Ed Norton", please feel free to share thoughts, ideas or leads on its whereabouts.
But, as noted previously, don't contact the Gleason family directly.. They can be easily irked over simple inquiries! |

Just for those who care, I did screen the 1/10/70 episode of the JGS in Color episode from Time Life. At the end where, the white Jackie Gleason Show logo on blue background appears, Johnny Olsen plugs the following weeks episode (that we all know probably never aired). At the end, the screen fades to blue. Then the credits starts and the music starts again.
Makes me wonder if Time Life edited out the “next week”s clips since they either don’t have the episode and/or it probably didn’t air. If a producers copy of that episode (meaning the 1/10/70 episode) exists, it makes me wonder if it includes clips of that Ed Norton sketch (if it was ever made) |

Or, were the "next week's clips" bits edited out for re-runs? Probably not, I suppose.
TIme-Life was so flaky with their issuing the JGS. So many cuts! |

The ones that had Color Honeymooners episodes were edited out when they were shown in syndication from 2003-2010. However you did hear Johnny in the voice overs for some episodes plugging the next episode. Funnily enough, during one of the final season episodes (can’t remember which one) when shown in syndication (but edited off of the DVDs) is a voiceover clip where you hear Johnny plugging “next week’s” episode where you can see Reggie and the Red Baron (despite the fact that that episode was not shown in syndication). That probably confused causal fans who watched during the 2000s.
