Another great blog post, CD! I always learn so much more about cases I thought I had all the info on.

I think Curtis found an employee or two that were up to no good and confronted them, and they took him out for fear he would turn them in. Being a "weaker" person, they probably beat him up and then panicked and murdered him and/or disposed of his body.

I feel awful for Curtis and his family. He sounds like a decent guy who was dealt a tough hand later in life.

Wow. Poor Curtis. Debilitating disease as well as this. Gotta be someone on shift that night and that Robert April sounds like a pierce of work.

Edit: I also found this about Robert April III and his son April IV. Sounds like his son is as nutty as he is. https://www.seacoastonline.com/artic...News/308090373

Forgive me, but when I first read that article I thought, "What Temple? April doesn't sound like a Jewish name--maybe they converted?"

Thanks so much Todd!

Yes this one really makes you mad! Possibly assaulting and murdering someone who couldn't adequately defend himself than going on with your life as if nothing happened.

On the 1 year anniversary of my blog my latest article involves the disappearance of Pamela June Ray. I worked closely with her sister researching this so a lot of info included not mentioned on UM. Hope you enjoy!

Very interesting. I've followed this case closely on this forum. It's always interested me as we were vacationing in Panama City when this happened. I remember the pouring rain and the heavy police presence the entire time we were there.

Could the same person be responsible for the disappearance of 3 different women profiled on Unsolved Mysteries? Check out my latest article that killer Mark Riebe doesn't want you to read.

Excellent article. Riebe definitely sounds like the person responsible for Pamela June Ray's disappearance.

Another excellent blog article, CD! This was well researched and a fascinating read. I hate that Riebe was such a horrible person but you presented this very well and itís nice to see some good came out of this. I also agree that he is the most likely killer of Pamela June Ray.

I donít know how you keep getting your information on all these cases, but PLEASE keep it up!

Thank you everyone so much for the kind words!!!

Todd Mueller, I know I can't believe the luck I have. Special Agent Dennis Haley's stories to me were mindblowing! I don't think the details of his confessions are anywhere else in print that I'm aware of. Really leaves little room for doubt that Riebe has, at the very least, killed multiple women.

I'll let the excitement on this one die down before I tackle the next one, but I guarantee it won't disappoint either. Another UM case...
