That husband obviously killed her - how the cops never found any sufficient evidence on him, I'll never understand.

No body = no crime, unfortunately.

Not necessarily true. I can think of plenty of times where prosecutors have gotten convictions without having a body. It's rare but possible when they have a really good circumstantial case against the suspect.

This case is so frustrating to me, especially because it seems so obvious that Pam's husband was behind her disappearance/murder. I agree with most posters on here: Pam is deceased, or she would have done SOMETHING to get into contact with her family.

So sad. Now that her husband is dead, we'll probably never know.

To add to LooksLikeCRicci's point, Charley Project now has a whole subsection entitled "Corpus Delicti". It lists over 400 cases where someone has gone to trial for murder or manslaughter even though the victim's body has never been found and they are technically still "missing". Over 250 of these cases have lead to a successful conviction.

But there appears to some small shred of hope (at least in LE's eyes) that Pam simply ran off and was still alive. Her dog, as well as money from the video store was missing as well. I guess there simply wasn't enough evidence to rule either way. Don't get me wrong, I think Rob is guilty and he murdered Pam, but police unfortunately still can't rule out the fact that she didn't run off.

i agree it seems highly likely Rob killed her, BUT how the cops never found any sufficient evidence on him you ask, well simple, no body or sign of foul play, just a BAD story and bad change of story. Even if they found evidence to charge him, they couldnt do it today.

Rob admitting to typing the letter sealed the deal for me. I was actually leaning towards her running off, but when UM revealed he forged the note I was sure he did something to her. Have there been any new updates in this case?

I thought they said Rob only added the last four sentences to the letter or thats what Rob claimed than signed it.

Well that's what Rob Page claimed happened. I think in LE's eyes he was the one who wrote the letter.

You all forgetting, if the psychic was right, and Rob had a woman's help getting rid of the body, then she would know to.

I wonder if the woman he married after Pam's dissapearance was ever checked out?

true, if a woman did help him then she would know and likely be charged, but finding her will be hard. i do think Rob did it, but he's not going to give info out now, he can't.

i was leaning to her running off to UNTIL the story became false with him claiming this and that like his distinctive truck being parked somewhere and of course writing the letter. NOW you asked about any updates in this case. Well the update i know of is that you CANT charge Rob Page because he's dead. Other than that and the fact police ruled him out, no new updates.

Police did rule him out as a suspect? I thought he was never cleared as a suspect in her disappearance.

they wrote on this site i went to that the police no longer consider Rob a suspect and i am guessing they did that before his death from cancer.
