Nope, all AitF episodes are rated TV-14 on Sundance. Stop intentionally getting facts wrong, please.

Nope.

All in the Family is rated both TV-14 and TV-PG on Sundance. Sorry to disappoint you.

Even further proof of them rating it TV-PG and not TV-14 so Iḿ not sure why they dont rate it that way on TV. Its never been aired as TV-14 so Im not sure why youre getting worked up over something like this.

Maybe if you actually turned to Sundance Channel to watch the AitF episodes (which are the uncut, original broadcast versions) every Tuesday morning, you will see that the small box on the upper-left corner of the screen does, in fact, say "TV-14" (contrary to what it says on the website). I also checked the programming guide, and it says "TV-14" there.

Plus, I am just trying to have conversations on the subjects I want to discuss on this forum, and I do not need to have you literally being the only user to respond to my posts here while there are hundreds of other users on this forum. I was the one who started this thread several years ago, and once I found out that AitF was airing on Sundance with a TV-14 rating for real, I wanted to inform the members of this forum about it, and see what those members think.

Then why attack me?

I was just pointing out that from Sundance's website, not ALL episodes are TV-14 anyway. Doesn't matter. Always been PG on every other channel--cable channels can rate a show, or movie, whatever they deem appropriate. A lot don't go by the original. Some do, but a lot just do a generic. And also, in an echo to an earlier post, syndicated shows are cut for time not content. All in the Family only has about 2 1/2 minutes cut out of each episode, and for time not because the content is "too much." If you have any proof to back up what you are saying about all syndicated shows cut for content, I'd love to see it.

Watch Laff for instance. They air shows that are rated TV-14-D-L sometimes like Roseanne, Spin City or Grace Under Fire, but they aren't edited for content. Like I said, you said that all syndicated shows are "fearful of being edited for content" which is simply not true.

Do you have Sundance channel? Try and watch and see that some episodes All in the Family is TV-14 rather than generalizing your point, I think James28 may be right..

I don't have Sundance but I did see the schedule on Zap2it that showed AITF with a TV-14 rating most of the time. I wonder why Sundance is so strict and gives it a TV-14 rating when most other networks gave it TV-PG? And I have never seen an episode of Archie Bunker's Place yet but I have found some episodes online from a local UPN station years ago that aired it with a TV-G rating. Does Archie Bunker's Place not have as many adult themes as All in the Family so that it can slide with a TV-G rating?

I remember before one episode on the original run they had a disclaimer about language before it started. It was the one about the draft dodger who was having Christmas dinner with the Bunkers and a friend of Archie's who lost a son in the Vietnam War was also there. At one point Archie is raging mad and says something like 'I don't care about that god d--n war.' In all the repeats the gd words gets edited out.

It remains intact on Antenna TV's airings.

are you sure? Because I remember it in its original run on CBS and the only times it had a disclaimer was in its first season.

That was a Season 7 episode about a draft dodger. And to my knowledge, I've only heard it aired with it being dubbed over as "rotten damn" instead of g d. I don't think it ever aired without being censored and changed. I only recall reading the show had a disclaimer when it first started but I never saw it since it was way before my time.

Before the first episode of the series. CBS ran a disclaimer that said in effect that this was a program for adults.
