I recently rewatched this episode. His parents must have been absolutely loaded to keep him from being brought to justice or someone close to the situation took him and bought the farm for him.

thanks WoodBooger for bumping this thread. it always makes me smile. I think that is a possibility. maybe he was a brat that always got what he wanted and did not know how to be a man when he got older. often times getting away from people that don't want to be around you is the best thing for you(not hold them at gun point to try to force them to stay with you).

Default outspoken men

I remember this case for the anger explosion in the fast food restaurant or diner. reminds me of that ex Alaska detective who later had the same thing in a fast food joint on UM. he was very angry and (sissy offended) because they brought him the wrong drink. lol. just be a man and walk up to the counter and tell them about it. they will apologize and give you a new drink. duh. if I was ever in a restaurant/fast food place and some guy (usually its men) started yelling I would also shout at him and tell him to shut his very insecure mouth up! (actually I would only think this. I would be too intimidated to speak up)

He's a bigger question mark for me in terms of wondering if he's still alive or not.

I feel Utterback IS alive, and his sorry excuse for a family (who still laughably believe he didn't do any of the countless things he got arrested for) are helping him stay hidden. They definitely know where he is.

If you REALLY want to split hairs in terms of boyfriend status, Randall was the more nerdy and more possessive of the two. He wasted no time trying to control every aspect of Denise's life just two weeks in to their romance, nearly succeeded at destroying her relationship with her family and used any type of emotional manipulation to get her back when she eventually dropped him, getting more psycho every time it didn't work.

Richard, on the other hand, wanted to have fun with Tanya and blow off his schooling. When he flunked out of college as a result, he blamed the entire world but himself and felt they had to pay. It wasn't just Tanya he then went after. He also would have killed the Dean of Admissions at the University of Missouri if he hadn't been out all day in meetings. He was at times possessive during his relationship with Tanya but sounded more guilty of mooching off her money and harping her to fix all his problems that arose after he blew off his responsibilities.

Richard was a evil narcissist. Randall was a psycho whack job.
