That's a neat trick since except for a couple of episodes the show hasn't aired anywhere since 1977. Oh, I forgot, you live on Pluto and they're first getting the telecast now.

The show aired on TV Land a few times and also was released on video in the early 90's, albeit just a few episodes. Those are now out of print.

That is indeed true - three of the Brady kids confirmed it in their respective books - Maureen McCormick, Barry Williams and Susan Olsen!
