I recently found out about this video. It just occurred to me that Anissa's last name is the same as Davey's (Shirley's too).

"Da Monkees!" LOL

Very cool clip. A little hard to watch in regard to all that's happened since, but what the heck, at the time it was a good point in everyone's life.

Which show doesn't belong in this group?

M*A*S*H, All In The Family, Cheers, The Monkees, Frasier, Taxi, Mary Tyler Moore, Barney Miller, The Dick Van Dike Show, Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond

Damn, this is a tough one!

Love so much of their music and if you want to discuss their Grammy worthiness, that's cool because they probably should have won at least one at some point but damn, that show really doesn't belong in that list.

Maybe some people would say I am not the most sophisticated judge of the tastefulness of sitcoms. Also there are ones I rarely or never watched, such as Taxi. But I think that the Monkees is no worse than certain other sitcoms that are considered "better" or "classic" or "clever" etc.
I must admit I never paid much attention to Mork and Mindy but I found it
strange and it seemed to be some rehash of My Favorite Martian.

Obviously, who won the Emmy in some other year isn't relevant. The choice is among the shows that are on that year.
