Yeah I agree. He does have some pretty good stuff. I was mainly interested in his episodes of Hogan Family and Hang Time, which nobody else seems to have. But 35 bucks plus shipping per 2 hour DVD (4 episodes) is ridiculous. If the prices were more reasonable, I would have been happy to buy and I'm sure more people also would.

$10-15 per tape is high but for something ultra rare I can see . For me the issue was not only was he not interested in a trade but the price was obscene.

If the email started "hey I do have what you need but I only sell.." it would not have gotten under my skin as much.

But it was more like hey I have this, this and that

I email How many dvds, check my trade list

then he hits with I can sell to you for $35 per tape

I have heard he does have good quality items.
And never a complaint that he doen'st ship.

But the prices are extreme- and too high for any rarity on my list.

I don't think there is anything, per 2 hours that is worth the prices he charges.
Especially, with so much stuff coming out so rapidly these days.

Unless the dvd is instructions on how to disarm a car bomb, it probably ain't worth 35.00 per two hours PLUS shipping.

just my opinion.
But then again, maybe our salaries are lower in Indiana

His prices include shipping, so that makes it a bargain! Seriously, he has good stuff and I've never heard anyone complain that they didn't receive what they paid for. I know of someone that charges about $45 for a DVD, but he never comes on boards to get customers. In fact, he actually prefers trading.

Default this is silly

i dont care if quincy sells or not to be honest

BUTTTT i do know that he can be overbearing

and 99% of the people who get his emails
do NOT want to get them

for instance i know 1 big trader
who has quincy blocked in his emails
BUTTT quincy has several emails so he ends up emailing the guy ANYWAY
even though its unwanted and he has been asked to stop

LOL-the sad thing is it's so easy to get ripped off if someone says they have something you really want which is why I always try to be careful. Especially when I know i'm willing to pay big bucks for one of those shows. Greg do you have Jay Leno's first tonight show when it took over as host?

I don't have that show, but I remember someone asking about it recently. Was that you? I'll check around to see if someone has it. The thing about buying something you want really bad from people you don't know, is you get so excited about finally locating it (so you think), that you become too focused on getting it and throw common sense out the window. This despite warning signs that should tell you there is a problem.

My point exactly I do not care if he sells either but do not solicit people who do not want it. I am pretty sure after my last "polite" email he will not approach me again but the point is that I did not want his unsolicited sales pitch

The policy of only selling and not trading is absolutely ridiculous and stupid, whoever has this policy must really need money IMO
