In the Wikipedia article on the cartoon, it states this was Mary Livingstone's last role. She retired in 1958 like her good friend Gracie Allen. She really appeared very few times on the Jack Benny (TV) Program due to over-the-top stage fright. Maybe it helped that voicing a cartoon isn't a stage appearance.

It's interesting the live-action sitcom character Rochester can appear on TV, but the animated cartoon one seemingly can't.
Hmmmmmm, imagine that!

Mel Blanc, who did most of the voices on the W.B. toons.
(oops! sorry, should have checked for your answer!)

There's an interesting story about that, too, involving the Jack Benny Program. Again according to Wikipedia, the sounds effects for the Maxwell failed one time, so Blanc improvised and did the sputtering noise for it. Evidently that was a hit, and became the standard for the old car.

For those who are interested, and have the Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 3 DVD set, this cartoon is on disc 2.

Toon In With Me - Tue. 10/12/21 - Repeat Episode 49 "Bill Has A Frog In His Throat"

Original broadcast Thu Mar. 11 - Toon In With Me

LICKETY-SPLAT (1961), STUPOR SALESMAN, THE (1948), GHOSKS IS THE BUNK (1939), BIRD IN A GUILTY CAGE (1952), DOWN BEAT BEAR (1956)

Warners:

Lickety-Splat - early 60s Road Runner

The Stupor Salesman - an Art Davis-directed Looney Tune, with salesman Daffy vs. crook Slug McSlug. Davis obviously likes action and violence (check out Dough Ray Me-Ow, which had a railroad scene edited out on Nickelodeon) and this toon fills the bill!

Bird in a Guilty Cage - Sylvester chases Tweety in a department store.

Reminded me of Speed Buggy sputtering.

It was an interesting interview, but I thought that slam on Chuck Jones at the end was totally unwarranted, and left a post to that effect.

Then I got to thinking DePatie was producer at Warners in the early 60s. Maybe he was referring to Jones' moonlighting. Who knows, maybe DePatie was the one who fired Jones.

Bugs Bunny and Friends - Sat. 10/16/21

Bonanza Bunny (Bugs - 1959 - McKimson)

The Prize Pest (Porky & Daffy - 1951 - McKimson) - Me TV debut. Very infrequently seen cartoon.

Backwoods Bunny (Bugs - 1959 - McKimson)

A Hound for Trouble (WB - 1951 - Jones) - part of series of toons where Charlie dog is hunting for a master, this time in Italy. First time on MeTV.

Hook, Line and Stinker (Road Runner - 1958 - Jones) - late 1958 cartoon, one of 6 with canned music from the Capitol music library. As the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies books notes, "Even the inferior entries in this series never fail to entertain..."

Kit for Cat (Sylvester, Elmer Fudd - 1948 - Freleng) - fully restored for Golden Collection 1 DVD. Another first-timer on MeTV.

Show Biz Bugs ( Bugs, Daffy - 1957 - Freleng) - generally used as the format for the future Bugs Bunny Show

Toon In With Me - Mon. 10/18/21 - Repeat Episode 50 "What's Up, Jock?"

Original Broadcast Fri Mar. 12

REBEL RABBIT, MILLION DOLLAR CAT (1944), BETTY BOOP’S KER-CHOO (1933), VENTRILOQUIST CAT (AKA CAT'S MEOW) (1950), YANKEE DOODLE DAFFY

Warners:

Rebel Rabbit (1949) - Another mid-century McKimson toon with the rough-edge drawn Bugs, this has an unusual twist--no clear foe for Bugs, other than a bureaucrat who gives an answer Bugs doesn't like. This causes him to go on a vandalism rampage.

Yankee Doodle Daffy (1943) - Porky and Daffy Looney Tune from Freleng

Toon In With Me - Tue. 10/19/21 - New Episode 192 "Bill 2: Algae Boogaloo"

Hare Ribbin' (Bugs - 1944 - Clampett) - story by Lou Lilly (who's he?)

Porky's Five & Ten (1938 - Clampett) - first time on MeTV

Surf-Bored Cat (Tom & Jerry - 1967 - Levitow)

Pantry Panic (Woody Woodpecker - 1941 - Walter Lantz) - so--with no promotion or notice, has MeTV acquired the Lantz catalog from Universal?? We'll see if this was just a one-off.

Woolen Under Where (Ralph Wolf, Sam Sheepdog - 1963 - Phil Monroe, Richard Thompson) - final cartoon in this series, probably completed after Chuck Jones had left Warners. Story by Jones.

Pantry Panic is public domain, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one-off.
