Default Hanna Barbera cartoon hour on METV

With the news that METV will add The Flintstones to their lineup in September I got inspired to ask everyone if a classic Hanna Barbera cartoon would work on METV? Because as you know beyond The Flintstones and The Jetsons it would be cool to see more of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon library and it would be a huge hit on METV

I went with all but Johnny Quest because Johnny Quest is a half-hour show and it should be in its own entity, but it can be included on MeTV.

I'd also add Top Cat in the mix.

I would want any of those. The downside of Top Cat and Jonny Quest (no h) is that there are very few episodes.

Again, polls really need a none or other option. The best show was Yogi Bear, with Snagglepuss and Yakky Doodle.

I'd really like to see Quick Draw again, but no channel would have the guts to play it.

I agree. One I'd pick would be Rocky and Bullwinkle, or maybe George of the Jungle. I'm not familiar with Loopy de Loop.

Hi, Bestie! Yes the Flintstones and the Jetsons were the best Hannah/Barbera had. I hope ME TV shows them.

Smile And Doooonnnn't Youuu For Get It

I've watched all of the '60's classic Hanna Barberra toons over the past couple years and I would vote Quick Draw McGraw the absolute funniest. I laughed out loud everytime I saw one. Huckleberry Hound, Yakky Doodle and Augie Doggie being my next favorites. A couple I was disappointed in having not seen them since I was a kid in the '60's were Touche Turtle and Wally Gator, neither of these did I laugh at once, they were amusing due to the classic H.B. background music, but they were the least of the funny HB toons. I was disappointed in these 2 because I remember liking them as a kid. But Quick Draw McGraw was the best, the jokes never got tired as they sometimes did in the others.

Default I'll Do The Thinnin' Around Here

There are so many good choices with H-B, but Wally Gator, Touche, etc. from that short series are not the best of them, and are also much lesser-known. I'm really tempted to order that new Jonny Quest blu-ray because they reportedly did such a great job on it, actually using the TV masters and not editing anything out for political correctness as the previous DVDs did.

I agree Quick Draw (aka El Kabong) is absolutely LOL good, but there are so many other good ones, like the blue dog (Huck), Yogi, and the toons that went with these shows, Yakky, Pixie and Dixie, etc.

I was just reading that Quick Draw won an Emmy in 1960, which I did not know. He reportedly couldn't make it to the ceremony to accept it.
