I happened to see Barbara in Valley of the Dolls a few weeks ago. It would be nice if a retro station ran it their Binge type marathons. I do wish these binge marathon would be shorter in length. I can't stay up all night to see all the episodes which I would sometimes want to do.

She's pretty much the only reason to see The Kremlin Letter.
P.S. Peyton Place.

Knots Landing. It was the most realistic in my opinion.

I prefer Knots Landing. one of the greatest nighttime soaps from the 80s.

Dallas. Larry Hagman was hilarious as J.R. Ewing.

Does that count as a primetime soap? I only ask because it was considered a comedy as well and even nominated in the comedy category at reward shows.

My all time favorite is Melrose Place seasons 2 - 4. Those were the best seasons to watch of this series. I feel Marcia Cross owned this show with her character. She had the best, craziest, out there stories ever for a soap. Once season 5 started, they had way too many characters that drowned out the craziness fans loved.

If Desperate Housewives is considered a primetime soap, this is my second favorite. While it was an ensemble cast keeping the show going, my personal favorite was Marcia Cross because her character had the best one liners.
